Here he comes.
Few average laugh reacts on what was never an outrageous original post. You did say the end of the year, after all.

Darcy, Morris, and Thilthorpe are clearly ahead from the under 23s, but that's pretty much it for the definitives.

There's a very valid argument for a few others, but that's the point, it's an argument now.

At the start of the year, it wasn't.

Thilthorpe is certainly starting to match the earlier hype about him in this thread.

What a beast of a man. Set for a heck of a decade ahead with the likes of him and Darcy doing their thing weekly.

29 goals to RT in his last 12 games. 33 to Neale.
Little doubt the Crows have had the tougher run of opposition during that time but shows how much Neale has improved.

There certainly won't be 'daylight' between however many other forwards (young, old whoever) kick and Neale next year. Including our own JC.

Cadman looks a fantastic young player. Caused us all sorts of problems
He's a gun. It seriously could be a golden era.

To have all of Darcy, Thilthorpe, Morris, Treacy, Cadman, Neale, and Georgiades coming through at the same time is incredible.

All in the top 20 in the Coleman race, and all still 23 and under - although MG is turning 24 in a month.

That's without mentioning the Voss, Dear, Caddy, Walter, and Amiss types either.

Even if a few of them drop off a bit or don't make it, there should be more than enough left over to have a pretty great era of key forwards.

Remarkable for a position many claimed was on the decline half a decade ago.

Yes the Treacy and Voss combo as well is great to watch they just puff the chest out which is great to see, real presence.
Morris, the Kings so many KPF young talents.

None of those with laugh reacts are people who offer insights worth reading. All low value contributors.

Kicking about the same amount of goals per game at the moment. I'd have thought that's what forwards are there for.
Kicking goals isn't everything. Most of Neale's bags are against rabble sides, and kept mostly quiet against good sides.

Darcy and Thilthorpe are extraordinary talents. Shannon Neale is a good solid talent. Every club in the AFL would take Darcy or Thilthorpe over Neale in a heartbeat. It would take severe delusion to believe otherwise.

Also upon checking, this is just blatantly wrong.
Sam Darcy is averaging 3 goals, Neale is averaging 1.9.
Despite missing 7 games (including the game he injured his knee in the opening minutes) Darcy has still kicked 7 more goals for the year than Neale. That isn't even accounting for Darcy being a far better field kick.

It's actually embarrassing that you think Neale should be mentioned in the same sentence. Huge powergap between these two players.
