Who is the better CEO?
Collingwood's Gary Pert
OR
North's Eugene Arocca

I can remember Eddie selecting Pert over Arocca, and Arocca feeling like he deserved the job more?

Those Pert did not cost the Pies 8 Mill like Arocca when he was there with Swan

Wasn't Arocca at Collingwood before Pert? So Eddie actually selected Arocca ahead of Pert, but when Brayshaw lured Arocca abroad he went with Pert.
No. Arocca was the CFO at Collingwood and Swanny the CEO. Then Swann came to us which left Arocca in prime position to become the new CEO of Collingwood but McGuire went for his mate from Channel 9 in Pert over him.

Arocca hung around after that but obviously when North came calling with the CEO position, he couldn't knock that back and went there.

Don't think Arocca was alone in making those decisions at Cwood boys. Andf he was also around for plenty of the positive developments.

He's been outstanding so far at North.

Arocca leaves Collingwood and they record an $8 million loss.
In the same year he arrives at North and they record a $1 million profit, plus record membership, plus secures millions more in redevelopment funding.

Plus Eugene's new club goes 2-0 against his old club since his arrival.

This one is easy - Pert is a mental lightweight, Eugene is the man.

Close poll.

Arocca stayed at Collingwood after being overlooked for CEO to take up the position to be in charge of commercial activities (i.e. hotels), so he definitely shoulders a significant part of the blame, definitely not all.
