My first ever gig was Slipknot/Machine Head at Rod Laver back in 2008 where Joey had the rotating drum set which got busted out during 'Sic'.

RIP to one of the absolute legends of the drumming scene.

Just checking in to see who died overnight.. at least he was 72, that's about 190 in rockstar years!

watched a recent doco of theirs & looked like they were all travelling alright health wise but yeah, that's a decent innings.

ZZ Top - Deguello. Their 70s albums are awesome.

Next 20 years will be carnage.
Father Time waits for no man. Rock broke out in the 60s and metal was born at the beginning of the 70s, so it's just time.

I once had a conversation with my father. He said you get to a certain age when you catch up with relatives and it is routine to talk about who has died in the extended family. It just becomes normal. That's what the metal community will be living through over the next few decades.

Kane Roberts’ recent solo album was a ripper eh..???? Lol.

One of the worst things I have ever heard. Put me off Frontiers (actually got the Kryptonite album on now - has Frontiers released anything like that recently?). Has a lot of songs that would fit right in on an 80s film.
