I'll tell you the rationale, there was none.

And you can see that by the fact at the very last minute we realised it couldn't be a loan so cut up Harry Kane's best mates contract

That's a long winded way of agreeing with me that we're in a s**t position.
You took umbrage with my calling out JD.

I never inferred we haven’t got some work to do to be well run and well scouted.

Just it was a s**t take by blaming it on someone not here at the time merely because he has an axe to grind.

Brentford fair enough wanted an option to buy. But Spence didn't have to go abroad.

Neither did Alfie Whiteman.

And after his cameo at Palace, I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if not a single PL club would see use for Bryan Gil.

And despite not being at our level, surely the same could have been said for Harry Winks last summer.

Some signed by Paratici. All loaned by him causing to the admin error

It’s raining s**t takes.

This is what happens when FM enthusiasts follow football clubs, end up being clueless.
Gold reported on said Spence interest from 4 English clubs you absolute twat. With 2 of the 4 making right back signings this January.

But yeah you keep protecting that I in ENIC and being a dickhead

We’re a laughing stock. Any way you want to dice it up Daniel Levy has come out of this month looking like a mug.

1) Bryan Gil for Erik Lamela plus £25m plus…Bryan Gil.😳

2) The Djed Spence calamity.

3) Matt Doherty shipped out on a free at the last minute. 😂

Daniel Levy, master negotiator.😂😂😂

Speak only when spoken to.

Funny how you now listen to Al Gold, been telling you for years he’s the man.

Have said nothing about Enic. Purely discrediting your horseshit on Paratici.

I'm using Gold as your puff piece to compare to. He said it so either you're wrong ever listening to him, or he has an idea when it doesn't come to opinion pieces and we botched Spece.

So if Gold has no clue and no club wanted Spence even though there was other interest in a championship star then fair play

If not, Paratici botched it. Like he has 10 of the other 14 outgoings

Plenty have been sucked in because the 🤡 masquerading as Chairman landed VDV over a decade ago for peanuts.

And the 🤡 has dined out on it ever since. Yet has delivered f*** all ever since…except a stadium almost two years late and well over budget.
There's always someone else to blame at THFC

It's not Paratici's fault that Hitchen couldn't identify talent.

It's not Hitchens fault he got promoted to a job he hates.

It's not Pochs fault. It's not Contes fault. It's not Mourinho, Jol, AVB etc.

Because it came from me.

10/14 free or loans for players we don't want. Going to be 11/15 when Lucas goes for free too

Why would anyone offer us a fee for Sanchez, Davies, Dier, Emerson etc. with that there
SURELY* we don't let Lucas go for free!?

*I've been a fan long enough to know we actually would 🙃😶

Look, I’ll give you the respect of civility given I know you are more negative than but usually rational at the same time. You know Daniel doesn’t actively negotiate transfer dealings anymore right?

The only point on your list he’s culpable for is Spence as that was (and reliably reported at the time) the only transfer in the summer that Levy made. And as Conte pointed out a “club signing”.

Time will tell on that one, he could easily outlast Conte and be a good player for the next manager or he could be a right footed Sessegnon that ends up as a poor buy. If we’re honest given how spotty Doherty and Emerson have been yet Conte doesn’t play him, a loan is good for him.

Changing from that topic, if he ends up being allowed to (court appeal), I am keen to see what Paratici and his overhauled scout and recruitment network can put together for the next years to come.

Added to Sess (22), Royal (24) [both possibly not up to it]. With the exception of Perisic who is a “now” signing for Conte and Lenglet on loan (as no CB target could be moved). The profile of player under Paratici seems to be talented and young, and contrary to myth Conte plays younger players if they are good enough. All this could also very well be the core group someone else is given if Antonio leaves.

But unlike the Redknapp and before that era - there appears to be zero to suggest ‘young and talented’ is to repeat the Modric, Bale money raising that Levy previously relied on.

Life as a football fan - take out THFC for a sec - is in a weird space atm. We have winter World Cups, FIFA pushing for 48 teams or once every 2 years. UEFA looking to replace the annual Club World Cup with a quadrennial tournament that encompasses teams from that 4 year period… all money and greed.

Speaking of, 12 clubs went rogue and tried to destroy the fabric of football, got scorned for it and crawled back tail between the legs. All the while under everyone’s noses it went unnoticed by many that the ‘Super League’ is alive and well. It’s called the Premier League.

Aside from the resident muppet (whom admittedly he does push my buttons), and is someone I just won’t suffer any longer. I do get why some are negative with us, we haven’t won in ages. I’m just slowly coming to the position it is largely futile atm, nothing we will or can do will sustainably keep us anything better than a 4-7 club. We punched above our weight under Poch.

We just witnessed a rival this season get new ownership (forcibly) and then as karma… the new owner spends €611m on 18 new players - including a new British transfer record. Newcastle are only just beginning their oil journey and will get better. If not us (I hope not), then it is quite possible arab gulf oil money buys one of United or Liverpool. And if one of those English giants get a blank cheque even City are ****ed.

Arsenal, United are said to be interested in 100m+ midfielder Declan Rice. Liverpool are looking at 100-150m for Bellingham. Where on earth are we going to find (like Chelsea have with Fernandez for 105m a CM of this calibre… and not be outbid by someone bigger and better?).

Watch… City will find lots of cash to spend… and that’s the sad part, we backed Conte with €172m this season + the €39m Porro obligation in June. €210m in investment and spent decently well and still falling behind. Sad and depressing that the only silver bullet for us is oil money.

And that’d make me stop actively supporting the club. I’d just watch casually watch football.

Have a nice evening, and hope you’re well.

I would pay up good money to watch you both sit down over a table with a jug of beer.

Better entertainment than the football of late.

Cheaper too.

Plenty of reports around saying that Levy has been actively involved this window due to Paratici’s questionable ongoing status.

I think we all have been around long enough to know that there is no way Levy keeps his distance when cash is on the table (or often not in his case).

If you're anything like your idol daniel, it would be overpriced and you'd skip your round. So lucky me!
No idea where we went wrong with you. But I know seeing reason and logic is a sticking point.

Stats, accounts, finance experts. All mean nada because the vibe (without evidence) is that without Levy we’d be a roaring success. And as such any and every failing we have should draw harsh scorn. We are about where we belong and that won't change without oil money.

Speaking of, when that nugget of news broke. Yids, mancunians and scousers alike all were appalled by the possibility of that ownership model. You made a 'Somebody KFC' joke. You too afraid to tell the main board of the Assoc. that you'd have no objections to being an oil club fan? Too afraid of Zizou, SM etc rightfully eviscerating you for that view?

Porro was being handled by the player's agency firm. By all reports Levy stepped in two days ago when talks were falling over.

I frankly don't care about 5m or no cash for Doherty. It in no way moves any needle at the club.
We're still in the same predicament Re: The other 5 and NUFC that we were two days ago when he was still here, and him leaving allows Porro to enter which should improve us.

Son (if he can find form) teaming up with Perisic... And Kulu with Porro actually has me excited a little bit.

But we'll lose Sunday, and will be the one time it won't annoy me given what's at stake.

I’m just not sure how you can continue to defend him. It wasn’t very long ago you were done with him over the SuperLeague sellout.

The guy’s a grub. He does not and never has had the best interests of the club at heart. I visited the new stadium on New Years Day for the Villa game. It is fabulous but 100% a tourist trap. Most of the fans that I saw on the day were plastics. It has been built much like a casino…all the bells and whistles at premium prices to match. All designed to get your money.

We are no longer a proper football club (as they once were) and the moment Levy and Uncle Joe have wrung enough cash out of it, they’ll sell the Enic Football Club to Qatari interests or some other equally morally reprehensible investor.

Bet on it.

I’m just not sure how you can continue to defend him.
I don't.
But I do correct the record when things are factually inaccurate (mostly JD).

I still am.
Sold us down a immoral path.

If you can find a way to grow a stadium to cater to more people, while maintaining what made that venue great. Then you'd be a highly sought after architect earning whatever you demanded. Reckon what you observed was highly predictable.

Even seen people complaining Kardinia Park has demolished the standing room section - a dilapidated eyesore - and that it will ruin the experience. So would say these things aren't easy to replicate.

Keep re-reading and not sure what part is defending him here?

The Porro transfer is true.

Talks breakdown due to Sporting shifting goal posts.

Just because Levy isn't popular doesn't mean things can just be made up.

Also while we're on ITK. Al Gold (JD's new best mate) gets stick but was bang on again.

As much as we remember it for Eriksen I'd retire the number. Still has the stench of Judas on it.

I’m referring more to the experience than the actual stadium. Stadium is sensational, easily the best I have been in across any sport.

But boy do you pay for it. The cost of beer and food in that joint is truly disgusting.

Working class fans have bern priced out of it and I find that objectionable.
