Here's a list for now. I'll change my mind by March I'm sure. I've already changed my mind on next year several times during the last two months.

1. St Kilda
2. West Coast
3. Fremantle
4. Bulldogs
5. Adelaide
6. Sydney
7. Hawthorn
8. Richmond

9. Melbourne
10. Geelong

14. Port
15. Kangaroos
16. Essendon

How can you all be putting the Bombers in the last one or two?

I can assure you Hird and Sheedy won't be going out down the bottom of the ladder. There's no way the club would allow that.

News flash, most coaches and captains will be doing their up most best not to get down the bottom of the ladder.

1. West Coast dominated the H/A- slight blip at the start of the finals, but won the flag and wont lose enough talent to finish outside the top two
2. Sydney Like a typical premiership side they generally do just enough in the finals, but Roos will make sure they finish in the top four. I think top two
3: Western Bulldogs: WILL be the next Great Victorian Hope, and EVERYTHING will depends on how their big man stocks go.
4. Fremantle: Starting to burn, they have one of the best KPP in the comp (Pavlich) and a talented side finally delivering

5. St Kilda: Still have talent to burn, still have Gehrig, and all depends on how they gel under the new coach. Could surprise.
6. Adelaide: Last Chance. Stars arent getting any younger, and their lack of rucks will hurt bigtime. Dont expect to challenge for the flag, but we saw what Port did after yeas of choking. Will either just make the finals, or will finish well outside the eight, either way Crows supporter will have to expect a Brisbane like slide in the next few years.
7. Melbourne: Will be thereabouts, but seem to make a habit of late season dives. Have talent though, if they can avoid playing Carlton more than once, that will help.
8. Geelong: One of two things will happen: They will make the finals like the talented side they are, or they will miss the finals like the fragile side they are. I think they will make it.

9. Richmond: No explaination necessary
10: Hawthorn: Almost there, but not quite. The 2005 Western Bulldogs pf 2007
11: Post Adelaide: Rebuilding, and doing a damn fine job of it.
12: Brisbane: Jonathon Brown will see them get enough wins to go reasonably close. Wont disgrace themselves while they rebuild.
13. Collingwood: Old. Beyond Adelaide, Collingwood has the biggest cause of concern. Several stars slowing down, and will certainly lose a few after next year. I for one, will enjoy seeing the black and white masses writhe.
14: Carlton: Pumping more experince into the kids, but if we lose Thornton, we might be in trouble. Dont think the current ineptitude of the board will affect the playing group at all.
15: Kangaroos: Get used to it Roos fans
16: Essendon: In a few years time will have the worst list ion the competition. If any of Lloyd, Fletcher or Lucas go down, kiss 2007 away 'Dons fans. And hopefully this is right, because I would love nothing more (okay, seeing Collingwood with the spoon) that Essendon with the '07 spoon.

There are my (somewhat obvious) observations and predictions.

Too early. Collingwood will not drop back to the bottom 4 though, that's wishful thinking by other supporters.

ill give it a go then

1. West Coast (All class, and still young)
2. Fremantle (could go either way, but should finish top 4.)
3. St Kilda (finally got rid of thomas)
4. Sydney (never finish first or second, but prob make GF)
5. Western Bulldogs (still young, and veterans will still be there next year)
6. Geelong (will do a lot better next year)
7. Melbourne (be around the mark, but wont take next step)
8. Richmond (finally make 8, but wont go anywhere)

9. Hawthorn (will improve again next year, but still too many debutants)
10. Adelaide (to many player wrong side of 30)
11. Port Adelaide (will improve again next year)
12. Collingwood (will not make 8 next year, they might get a real draw)
13. Carlton (will definitely improve next year, but not huge)
14. Brisbane (only chance to be higher, if J Brown stay fit)
15. Essendon (2nd worst list in AFL)
16. Kangaroos (worst list in AFL)

I dont think that Adelaide will actually fall that much, but just could not find a sport for them in the 8, i think that 6 -10 will really be up for grabs.

1. West Coast-Can you see them dropping?
2. Freo-If they play like Rd. 13-22 they will challenge Eagles
3. Sydney-Still there
4. Adelaide-Would have them 3rd but they have no Ruckman
5. Bulldogs-Getting talls back
6. Demons-No better or worse next year
7. Saints-See Demons
8. Hawks-Up and coming
9. Richmond-Where else?
10. Geelong-Good team but there are 9 better
11. Pies-Could challenge top 8 but there are better
12. Port-Will be great in 2008 but next year for learning
13. Essendon-I am biased
14. Brisbane-Not as bad as bottom 2
15. Kangaroos-I want to see Carlton last
16. Carlton-Please God

1) West Coast - The best team in the AFL
2) Western Bulldogs - Will take the next step required and become a super star team
3) St Kilda - Still a good premiership threat
4) Hawthorn - Surprise package next season
5) Sydney - Will be there but won't make another Grand Final
6) Adelaide - They had there chance
7) Richmond - Will make the 8 but it ends there
8) Melbourne - Good team but not good enough
9)Fremantle - Will drop off after a fluke miracle run
10) Geelong - Not enough talent IMO
11) Port Adelaide - Average year
12) Brisbane - See Port
13) - Collingwood - Will be poor at the start but pick up late but still have crap year
14) Carlton - will get off the bottom and have a few good wins
15) Kangaroos - Will be bad, Very bad
16)Essendon - Will struggle to win many games
