I don't want to call you out for trolling but the bolded part is strange and makes me think you haven't seen Grundy play yet. He's done next to nothing in the forward line. Hitouts and 2nd efforts are where everyone is so impressed.

Seen a bit of him at Collingwod, and I agree he's been playing mainly ruck, but I did watch a bit of him at the U18 chamionships and I thought he was quite dominate at times when he was in the forward line (whether it was starting up there, or drifting down forward after starting in the ruck). It is possible to watch players before they play for Collingwood

Think Grundy has as much upside as any player taken in the 2012 draft. I had him ranked as the third best player in the draft.

Is relatively new to AR and he has it all athlete and skill wise. His aggression and drive to learn makes him the complete package.

Settle down Collingwood people. Both players have played less then 10 AFL games... not much to compare. BTW both players 2013 stats are pretty similar. Only thing different is Grundy touching it a few more times in a winning team. Of Longer's 4 games this year, 3 have been lost by 50+ points, pretty hard to be getting a touch as a young ruckman in games like that.

Agreed. Longer has also played up forward most of the time too. Both will be quality rucks. We're happy with Longer, Collingwood is happy with Grundy.

All clubs will be keen to get Longer as he will be a gun.

But some clubs have other needs to address come trade week. Your club needs to target a defender. Others are in need of a Forward. The 4 above either have weak or aging Rucks and will look at young Billy to fill the void.

If Longer were at Collingwood he would be in the reserves of the reserves. Shintaro and Big Wits are both superior.

Longer has Witts well and truely covered and is on par with Grundy. Would be a good duo going forward but I doubt Collingwood would give up what theyed need to give Brisbane.

When Longer played us earlier on this season it was one of the worst performances from an individual player I'd seen this season. Witts has about 10cm in height on him and about 10 kilos as well. I'd take him every day of the week ty
