Regardless, he should be dropped for Kennedy.
Both players were going for the ball. I said at the game it was a rubbish free kick yet alone a report and after seeing a replay I stand by that. Contests like that are what make our game great.
It's a strange one as Miles seen Blair coming and lifted his head causing contact. His only other option was to turn and brace his body for contact, however Miles' lifting of the head was a heat of the moment reflex action, so realistically it's not much of an alternative. Blair was too committed to the footy and actually had hands on it to do anything different. Play on for mine.

Here it is again;
Only shows one angle but Blair is going for the ball it seems, if the Richmond player doesn't fall over he doesn't get him high.
Blair should have got him with his legs, would have been a free kick to us for taking out the legs then.

When it comes to him Buckley has given him several chances dont no why? Yet Kenendy who has more upside 5 years younger 3 or 4 senior games, or Karnesis for that fact.
Its a joke Blair is a flat track bullie , has no up side .Does not bring much on the table. Yet i scratch my head each time i see him getting games in front of younger players with more up side!

It's a strange one, Blair actually touches the ball, so that would be his defense that his sole purpose was the ball and the bump was purely accidental.

Free kick, no more. As others have said he touched the ball simultaneously so you cant argue he elected to bump
A ridiculous report - accidental contact whilst going for the ball, free kick was paid accordingly. Nothing to see here, it should be thrown out but with the chook lotto that is the MRP who knows.

Bizarre report, Miles isn't far off getting too low and giving away a diving into the knees free kick.
Up there with the innocuous Deledio 50 and Marley Williams holding the ball free kick during that period.
