Yep, the girl may not have known the full implications of what she said although you suggestion seems a bit unlikely to me. But hopefully she does now.
The relevance being, my kids didn't grow up as we did surrounded by wogs, dagos, etc etc, they just never heard it. Both of them were shocked and didn't understand why what she said was taken the way it was. Although they have heard plenty of derogatory stuff chucked at their pommy mother, but apparently that's ok, I'm not entitled to feelings.
How come when the herald sun splashed the buddy headline on the front page nothing was said?
