This year Johnson will be better. Over their careers Akermanis has been better though IMO.

He should be in the same league as Judd, Voss, Bucks and Hird.

Yea, West is a gun. But Johno has that X factor that goes with being in the same league as Hird, Buckley, Judd and Goodes.

Both are superstars. Aker has more brilliance about him however. He has the ability to have a 10/10 game. Something only a couple of players can do.

Speaking as a doggies supporter that has seen the whole of Brad Johnson's career, to me it is more than playing ability.
Johnno has been a doggies fan his whole life, it was a dream to play for them, let alone be the Captain.
He has carried himself beautifully his whole career, stayed out of controversy, always smiled and always wanted what was best for the club & team.
......and he can play a bit.
