judd right now, buddy will own this game in the years to come
but playing like like he does already

Buddy, Judd is good but I hate to say it but I think he is past his best.

coming back to playing his best you mean

I voted buddy as he is the player i would rather have at the crows but i think at there best, judd is the better/more damaging player. I hope he can reach the dizzy heights we knw he can (once again) and win another brownlow to truly entrench his legacy.

Two of the very best. And to think that buddy is only 21. Legend in the making.

Do this poll again in 10 weeks.

Judd will be totally injury free

Both superstars.

However, Buddy is going to a place no footballer has ever gone.

Could very easily become the greatest player ever by 25.

If I had a choice of either player at my club id take buddy 10 times out of 10 although i could be biased.

Should have made the poll where we can see who voted for who.

I reckon Carlton and Hawthorn people will vote for there respective players.

I'd take Buddy, but shit Judd was good again on the weekend. Turned the game on its head.

True about the bias, that's why i'm not voting.

buddy because he's a rare kpp

but how on earth can judd who is 24 be past his best? he's a superstar too

i think we've seen the best of judd though, he's very consistent and has probably reached the height of his powers, whereas buddy is still lacking polish and has gone up a level from last year, still improving . . . whatever happens with him, he'll go down in history as an excitement machine.

Judd has the runs on the board - Brownlow, Premiership Captain, AA, Best and Fairest etc...Buddy will need to prove himself for more than 1 season to be in the same league as an elite player like Judd.

Yes I may be bias but I would take 24 year old Judd..The bloke who said he is past his best has got to be a joke. AFL footballers peak in their mid to late 20's...Judd is only going to get better.
Buddy is going to be a superstar but is yet to win anything(Brownlow,Norm Smith or Premiership)..yes he has had a good 5 games to start this year and a few last year but he is yet to be consistently gamebreaking like Judd has been.
Will Buddy do all this in the next few years? I hope not..I hope Judd wins the premiership and brownlow..
There I go being biased again :)

i'm not biased at all, as i get aroused (ha, in a football sense) watching either of these two players play.
i'd say judd though; he's far more consistent, can take the game by the scruff of the neck from anywhere on the field (from centre-bounces, or floating back, or up forward to ice a game with his attack and running goals).
buddy is a freak though.

buddy at the moment considering judd is injured. if judd gets back to his best i expect him to rival what buddy is producing at the moment...although i think franklin has much improvement left in him so by the time is back to full fitness buddy may have taken his game to a new level.

i voted for franklin.

True, to be officially stamped as a gun i guess you have to get certain accolades, Buddy hasn't even got an All-Australian yet . . . having said that, i don't think Judd deserved his NormSmith that year and he certainly got at least one Ross Glendinning medal that he didn't earn.

Armchair expert aye?

Judd has experience success both induvidually and as part of a team.

While there is no doubt Buddy is an awesome talent and will be a great player for years to come, I think the media over-hype and outrageous comparisons (Ablett/Jordan/Carey) have seen Buddy become grossly over-rated on BF. Until Buddy produces more than 12 months of elite level football, I would still say he is a fair way away from becoming a Judd type superstar.
