Scott shouldn't be sacked, that is obvious off a good second half of 2015.

I don't believe he should be extended though, and would rather keep the pressure on him to perform. It appeared to work in second half of 2015 after his forced time away from the squad and adjustments to his approach, and I think it can work next year too.

Whilst it's been great to win two finals each of last two years, I think that masks other issues that has led to ordinary/unacceptable H&A results.

Until that is fixed a premiership is a mere pipe dream, and on that point alone I don't believe Scott should be extended until he legitimately gets us top 4 or well on the way to achieving it. That is a very reasonable expectation with the players he has got to work with.

Unfortunately I think the indication is he will be extended this off-season regardless of what any of us think.

The term then is more the relevant question, and for mine I could maybe understand 1 more on top of next year with performance triggers, but I suspect we will give him 2 more despite not earning it. If it is 3 or more then it would be completely ludicrous.

Nothing but pain there.

One of my worst footy experiences ever

Thankfully I wasn't there that day.

Instead I got to enjoy the 2015 Pies loss in person.
Was at both and the first one was significantly worse. So much anger.

I was *this* close to murdering a living creature.
North supporters punching on with other north supporters on the way outta the ground. Shit you never see.

I am comfortable with Scott. He should get an extension. And we will win the flag. And I will be ecstatic for him, the players, myself and all North supporters.

But I will never, repeat never, apologise for anything I said after witnessing that game against GC.

Or the game against Collingwood.

Or the game against Adelaide.

The mistake remains, the club chose Dean Laidley when Al Clarkson was available, the rest as they say is irrefutable.

Gibson? Huge in the finals.
Jacobs? Massive in the finals.

So who are the others that should have been dropped? The above 2 get a fair run in the "playing favourites". Looks like persisting with them and getting games into them worked.

Who else should have been dropped? And who should have come in.

Big footy - where the couch potatoes know more the selection committee.

Hey WB, IIRC in a thread on the main board recently I saw you predict that we'll get about 12 wins next season. Is that a tally that would be acceptable to you, or just a prediction?

Wrong poster - I have never posted 12 wins in 2016.
No worries, I thought the following post was you predicting our wins for next year. Obviously I misread the context in which it was posted.

Rich 13 wins Roos 12.5 Dogs 12.

Very close in betting for wins next year.

They are just the current odds for how many wins each team will get. We are the pick of those 3.

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

One of my all time favorites

"Everything was fine with the containment system until dickless here shut it down."

"Is this true?"

"Yes its true, this man has no dick."

We got this all wrong, he's a sailor, he's in New York, we get this guy laid we won't have anything to worry about

Who got gifted games?

I have to say as soon as brad came back from surgery he finally made some hard calls

Ziebel - had so many games were he looked flat and played awful. Hasn't played VFL ever? Correct me if I'm wrong. Dumont was knocking down the door

Gibson - I don't really have to go through this but I don't think we have anyone to replace him apart from maybe Wood. The amount of times he fluffs the ball is urgh

Scooter - had some terrible games and could have given a chance to maybe tippet

Cunnington - at times definitely looked uninterested and had some low games, didn't really explode but he could get 2 possessions for weeks and he would still get a game

Other veterans can play however they want and they know for a fact they will never lose their spot

I should have rephrased my post as I hope he "continues" his ruthless attitude in 2016 haha :)

Apparently Harper had all the tools and should have replaced that spud Nahas.;)
