I have a feeling Twomey is struggling this year with clubs playing their cards very close to their chests.

His North pick choices aren't exactly great.I have a feeling Twomey is struggling this year with clubs playing their cards very close to their chests.
Im sure he doesnt.obrien is the general consensus for the eagles but the next 2 picks make no sense.we may pick stoddart but not that early.Who on earth is ryley stoddart?
If cal really does have inside info and these are the eagles picks... im a little bit worried...

Cal is a one eyed bomber.
Cal is North supporter.
Nah he is a big Essendon man for sureCal is North supporter.
Laird plays for the Crows. Is this guy a Richmond fan? Carlton won't use pick 10 on a half back flanker when we already have the best one in the league.
I'm never in the anti-phantom draft camp because history shows a lot of eggs on faces on draft nights as some experts nail 'outside' selections but there sure were some interesting ones. Personally I thought Coleman-Jones was the most mind-boggling, the Eagles already have three league-standard rucks and it's not like he's from WA or anything. He'll likely be available at their last pick in the 30's or could even be there at 69. Why is Stoddart going so early as well? That whole draft seems like him suggesting what he wants and ignoring clubs needs or wants.
WCE picking a kpf ruck and a hbf over a mid is a joke and Geelong picking a small forward over Hayes McCartin and Kelly when plenty of good small forwards will be available later in the draft is equally a joke.

Daniels to Geelong I can't see happening either. I like the Taylor selection but I'd have imagined Spargo, Kelly or even Miers comes into the conversation before Daniels who looks like a clever player but isn't great for value in the 20's. Can't see this one happening.
Also Constable not going top 30 took me away - a lot of clubs could use a good young ball winner, no 2km trial or whatever it was he was terrible at should take him away from the top 30.
Also why is Petty going to GWS in so many phantoms? I'd have thought Davis, Haynes, Tomlinson and Corr all provide great key defensive options with Mohr, Keeffe and Sproule providing at worst serviceable NEAFL options.
No midfielder for Wedt Coast. Would be very suprised if that happens
I see West Coast using 39 or either Worpel or Ryan. Cats and North are apparently keen on Kelly think 21 has to be the pick if they want to take him. Starcevich at 32 would also be a stealNo one is going to select Kelly and move him and his, soon to be, family of 5 anywhere across the Island, i see the Eagles selecting him with pick 37.
So that's one mid, I would also be supprised if they dont select at least one other inside 30 though!
Exactly what I said on another threadDoc will be back in 2019, he is still relatively young you don't draft players for one season. Williamson looks a likely replacement for Simpson too.
Our midfield is in far worse shape than our backline so I'd be pretty disappointed if we use a top 10 pick on a back flanker when players like Higgins or Stephenson were available
Bonar the man at 10?Exactly what I said on another thread
Would love Bonar/Clark/Stephenson at 10Bonar the man at 10?
Garner/Petro Boomin at 30
Westcoast have come out and said we need midfielders so Twomey chooses a HF, HB and a ruck with our picks.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Carlton have spoken to him on numerous occasions, and if the Eagles don't strike early I think they will. Also the Eagles pretty much the only ones interested in Schloite, but even that is luke warm.No one is going to select Kelly and move him and his, soon to be, family of 5 anywhere across the Island, i see the Eagles selecting him with pick 37.

Yes Carlton very interested in Kelly but think he’ll be gone by pick 30I wouldn't be too sure about that. Petrucelle as a half back or a small forward?Would love Bonar/Clark/Stephenson at 10
Houlahan/Miers/Petruccelle at 30
Wherever he was best suited. But preferably small forward. That’s why I’d look at Miers as well. Of those 3 I’d take Miers at 30Petrucelle as a half back or a small forward?
