Yup. If this is Lovell you're talking about, he's a good kick, the issue is, his vision is better than his kick, so sometimes he will go to hit a target between two others, and will hit one of the ones he didn't mean to.

His highlights look ok... I get that they are his best takes though... He seems like he is prepared to take a risk though, unlike some others i gave seen. Fiorini seems to get massive kudos but he kicks back/sideways/short more often than not and looks like has played it safe. I would love a detailed comparison of the two, as it looks like both may be available to port at 32.

can't see port taking Lovell or partington with 32

I'm not convinced he will become a mid. He is similar to Menzel, Cameron and Knight. And we drafted Seedsman and Hampton. Get a tall with our fist pick and there will still be good mids available with our second.

Milera game based more on Shaun Burgoyne more than Menzel or Cameron

But he proved he has that forward line talent as extra string to his bow

Agreed, watching Cyril's highlight package from under 18 days compared to this crap is like heaven and earth stuff. Just because he has the surname doesn't mean he'll be a great player.

i like gresham but i think we are trying to build more height onto our list as shortist list in AFL and haven't shown much interest

yep- he should make it as a very good mid, even more central as well as wing but still unproven for now

we could do with another...isaac smith and brad hill slaughter us usually as does gaff

My whispers are that we are into Burton and not Rioli but they were a few days ago and things change rapidly at the pointy end.

Reckon it's got anything to do with how your list is at the moment and your premiership window? If you pick up Burton, he'll take a lot of time whereas Rioli has the potential to perhaps impact in his first season where you really need it, ala Cyril Rioli in 2008
