Not for a whole year, but if it comes down to the last game? Like the Kreuzer cup?

A range of factors have helped them. They don't have many good players, if any, under the age of 22.I would rather do it on our own merits
Progressive sustained growth, hasn't hampered the Cats, been competative for over a decade

Surely goes no.1Lukoscious is a beast but do we really need another big half forward?
If we finish second or third from the bottom as I expect he'll probably be gone anyway.
Are you serious! You dont win 3 premierships on the back of a couple father sons .
Disgusting attitude.
According to most in the industry were coming 17th or 18th so if they’re right I think it’s okay to discuss lukosius and rankine.Thinking a lot of posters in this thread need a reset.
Start looking at prospects between 6 and 12, we are not getting the hyped top enders this year.
Still plenty of talent. On type, a mid/forward should be the wish, but will be best available (mid) for sure.

He would be my choice, complete midfielder and he's a VictorianWhat are peoples thoughts on Sam Walsh?

Scarlett, Clarke, Ablett, Hawkins. Not a bad list.
In addition to those blokes, the club has spent its low draft picks on trading in players in recent years. Dangerfield, Henderson, Tuohy etc.
They've had around 3 lowish draft picks over the last 10 years. One was spent on Selwood and they nailed that. The others have been wasted on Smedts and Cockatoo.
Like father, like sonOscar got enough of the ball but disposal, decision making was a bit off today. Needs to back himself to find shorter targets instead of kicking long to contests.
I had a feeling that Jordan Butts was the son of Gerald, but I wasn't sure which Sholl was Lachlan's father. Would be interested to know whether either of Jason Wild's boys are any prospect of being drafted via our Next Gen Academy.
Assuming Lukosius and Rankine are off the board at our Pick, I can see us going for Hill for his kicking skills and run (and his trade value to Freo after he’s won 3 premierships with us), or perhaps Walsh as the best midfielder. The kicking skills of Hill are sublime. He has that ability to manipulate the trajectory of his kick so that it drops off at the end into the right spot. Not many players can do this.
Have been thinking he would be a great fit given where I believe we will be sitting in the draft. Lower halfConnor Rozee please the kid will be a star.

Have been thinking he would be a great fit given where I believe we will be sitting in the draft. Lower half
of the top 10, about right. Not quite the Rankine X factor, but plenty of substance and while a mid first, could
play a few roles.
Given the fruits of our last couple of drafts any future draftees are going to need an avenue in to the top 22.
Inside, outside, HF, HB, wing. Fits the bill on current projections.
Rankine and Lukuscuis (sp) do look pretty impressive I must admit. Rankine likes selling candy, perhaps even too much, the kiddies down the street will all get rotten teeth. And Luku I call him looks like an advanced version of that tall stick insect that plays for Port, Westhoffenburger or whatever his name is.
