I vote for Geelong to fund:
  1. cats_09 interstate footy trips*;
  2. My bathroom renovation for warm Geelong goal assists.
*Enjoying your prematch commentary 😻

How soon can we start that fund 😜

Prior to this year I've been to one interstate match - 2017 preliminary final 🤢

This year I've traveled back to Adelaide for our round 2 clash, up to the Gabba and now out west to Optus

Guessing I should start saving up in case of any interstate finals 😂

Danger enormous and nice to see JHenry getting into some good form.Humphries is such a good field kick reminds of Milburn insane composure.
Good tough win just need few players to return to their usual self and can cause some damage in few weeks time.
However do need to stick our tackles a lot better.

Big win.
Feels like we're right in it this year.

Reminds me of the win against the Tigers at the 'G in 2022.

Max Holmes was massive; the boldness he shows in pinching extra meterage, backing in his running strength, is an absolute godsend for this team.

Tom Stewart had a great last quarter, and Jack Henry has had a huge 6-7 weeks after a shaky start to 2024.

We can play better than that, too - probably Tyson Stengle's worst game for the year, Bruhn unavailable after an early head knock.

Kudos to Rhys Stanley for his last 2 weeks; he might be running on fumes but he has dug deep to produce something.

Shannon Neale, Ollie Dempsey, Lawson Humphries; the kids were once again crucial contributors.

The season just got interesting for Geelong fans; we're knee deep.

Henry’s defensive efforts have been pretty rank.

I'm guessing this is in reference to Ollie?

In the third quarter when he took that mark inside 50, he landed very heavily and looked in a fair bit of discomfort - hip/buttocks area took the brunt of the landing

He tried stretching it out and could see he was hampered by it after that point in time - wouldn't have been surprised if he was subbed off had we not already needed to use it or if he misses next week

I thought Freo must have been gassed during that last quarter. Cats stopped the run.

Another Chris Scott masterclass. Acknowledge that Freo will have periods of ascendency, but make them run and run and grind and run and work really hard for the rewards, and trust that they'll be gassed in the last.
