Not a bad interview by CC, was very confident Fremantle will get the 4 points and that the right thing must be done.

Suggests the umps should have electrodes connected to their testicles that go off when the siren sounds :D

CC repeated what he had said after the game

there was some comedic style talking by both.

I enjoyed CC interview on PR, this has taken some of the pressure off his job for sure.. I am confident he will see out the season for sure. we have some winnable games coming up.

The finals await.

I heard him on 6pr , He sounded like the 2002-2003 CC.

Loved CC having a crack at confetti about the 1st class seats.:D
Loved that comment, and the electrodes one. Really put Confetti on the back foot and let CC run the interview.

I've been on a plane with the Freo team, and everyone, from Bell to Pav to Sandi to CC, Icke, Schwab and even Rick Hart sits in economy.
I've also been on a plane with Confetti... and he was in the pointy end (of course only business class, not first class on domestic flights). To his credit, however, he was watching a mini DVD player of the other Sunday game during the flight, but the Freo guys were also on the laptops watching bits of their game (which we lost) as well.

Maybe they should strap electrodes to the testicles of Grant Thomas and zap him everytime he makes remarks that are unaustralian or lack sportsmanship. After his remarks, he's overtaken Eddie McGuire as most hated person in football, dare I say I'd even cheer for the pies if they were playing the Saints *shivers*. What has this world come too?!

I thought CC was brilliant on CH9 last night. Almost Sheedy-esque the way he was going on about first class and sending down some prawns. He seemed more confident that usual, he knows they won that game, they see it as a win.

This could be the event that makes this club stand up to be counted.

CC's stood up extremely well in this ridiculous situation. Feeling better with him in control at the moment.

With such a well approached speech to the media I think that CC looks like taking control of FFC after all and puts some confidence in the supporters, so let's see if this can be shown throughout the season.

Not sure if I'd like to be called Sheedy-esque.

I know it's great that CC looks confident at the moment, but we shouldn't go over the top about our performance against Saints. Regardless of the extra time incident, it should never have gotten that close. If we want to win this week we're gonna have to play fast, fearless, ferocious footy for four full quarters without fading, flaking, flagging or f:D :D :D ing it up.

The problem is the travel factor really comes into play, which is why we may have to make a few changes this week. 1st Derby in 05 we ran out of legs late in the game and the yellowbacks made us pay. Hase and JLo still so-so, and without them fit it will be a tough one to win. I really want Sandi to fulfil his preseason form, this week would be a great time for him to put in one of those match-winning performances that we know he is capable of.

I think that one problem with our club, for a long time we haven't seen anyone in recent times really take a game by the scruff of the neck, besides Pav of course. Hase could if he was fit, JLo, Bell, DJ, Wiz, Polak and McPharlin can all do it to differing degrees, but we haven't seen many fill the shoes when Pav's having an off day or the team is generally down.

Having said all that, I knew they would win last week and we all know they did. If they go in fired up this week, there could be another Pav-fest on the cards.

Easy to say. But in reality we were playing one of the favourites for the premiership, at a venue we are yet to win at, with a nightmare travel arrangment. Sure it was ugly watching the Sinners come back in the last, but it is to be expected from a top team.

Exactly, And we were down a heap of run late with Macca & the Wiz lame.

The fact that we couldn't buy a free kick in the last didn't help either.

Regardless of what you think of Connolly, since the final siren sounded on Sunday he has handled this situation extremely well.

The fact that the decision dragged out until Wednesday might be a positive, it should give the players a boost just days out from the derby. There will be a real positive buzz around the club tomorrow.

Good point masai.

Sheedy-esque would be to lose by a point, not win by 1 and be in the bottom 4, be on a 4 game losing streak and have 2 former/injured captains overrule you to appoint the intermin captain, wouldn't it?

Oh, but it's injuries and rebuilding and and and

CC on PR on Monday said about Macca in the last qtr "We missed him, we really missed Shaun" in a dreamy, I-really-love-that-fella kind of way.
