Brander played the scrimmage in defense as we had no wings in that game. They might have given up on the experiment.

Not all players can be swung near and far and just perform well. We're blessed with Oscar who can do it. But it stifled the development of Shepp, and I suspect Brander is another who needs a key role and to play a block of games in that role to build into it. Unless we revert to putting him on a wing if a spot opens up, or we lose our key backs (and Schoey, Jetta, Hurn don't travel), I think we've seen the last of him this year. Preseason 2021 he'll probably be training with the backs again and Schoey will be retired.

Brander in for Waterman significantly decreases the campaigner levels of the team too much though imo.

This is why I would rather see that ginger campaigner Bailey come in at some point instead.

I been calling for Bailey to debut since i sponsored the ginger kent last year.

Naitanui's surprisingly good run of health and form + the complimentary ruck support from Oscar means it isn't happening.

Bailey to FWD/RCK and Oscar pushed into FWD only to cover Jake would've been juicy. Maybe the rain scared us off.



Still yet to see the changes, so anything could happen at this point.

Probably Gov and Reid for Rotham and Waterman.

I just realised that we've had a different version of the song for our last three premierships:

1992/1994: original song
2006: modern version that was all chorus, no verse
2018: slight modification to add a trumpet solo and get rid of the "Hey Eagles" introduction
2020?????

Maybe Birds of Tokyo was the masterstroke after all.
