Rest Goldstein no point in playing him the AA selectors favourites are starting to play well and if you listen to the so called media experts Goldstein is behind Grundy Gawn English Nic Nat in the pecking order.
The only way for Goldstein to get even close to an AA selection would be get 40+ hit outs 7 to 10 marks 5 to 10 handballs and kick 2+ goals a week even that might not get him an selection as remember Luke Darcy is an AA selector and North hater.
Yep Nic Nat tearing it up with 7, 9, and 8 possessions in his last three matches and never above low 20's for hit-outs. Goldy has had one game less than 10 disposals for the season and never less than 26 hit outs. Nic Nat is the most overrated player in the league.

He would look alright wearing our jumper!

I don't think there are any positives of winning this game. If we win, we will rise up the ladder by a little bit, hurting our draft selections, while also not being able to contend for finals. That imo is what has kept us in mediocrity for a long time. This is exactly why I don't care whether we win or lose this game and expect that the kids play some nice footy for the rest of the season.

If we lose this then we're probably relying on a result against Melbourne to stop a potential 10+ game lose streak, and I'd give us a 50-50 chance at best in that game.

You don't want lose 10 in a row at any point of your side's development. The players need to be rewarded every now and then. A win last week and a loss this week would've been perfect tank management.

And based off the spiel on the nm app... I don't think it will be Bmac giving way.... and also don't think will see walker this week.... potential for Williams Bonar given it's his pic and murp ontop of daw

Out: Mahony and Macmillan
In: Daw and Marley/Bonar

With walker and daw being able to swing either end
I think Williams might be just about done. They are investing long term in Hayden to take that role and he has been average in his games this year. Could be one of the tough list management decisions at the end of the season.
I also concede I could be 100% wrong.

Room for both
Having 2 good shutdown smalls and allowing Hayden to become more attacking

We will be pretty tall if those are the outs.... 3 fwd and 3 def can't see it myself and I reckon it will be Bonar and murph the other two in for jmac and not sure!

It’s the setup we used last year and most years except for this year where we have gone shorter to our detriment

3 talls at either end straightens us up

Thompson gave us versatility in the backline as he was was a tall that was mobile and had great disposal.

Can't recall us playing 3 genuine talls in the forward line unless you count Wood as a genuine tall.

Great to see Majak back. But it will take more than that to stop Adelaide having their first win. Regettable but I can't see North winning again for some time. Would be happy to be proved wrong.

Well it will be a pretty dour spot we will be in if we lose to this Adelaide team.... minus Sloane and crouch and potentially doedee... personally think we are much better

Clueless.

Carlton, like us, also have the longest GF drought. Neither team has played in one since 1999.
Every other team except the Suns has played in a GF since then.
Let that sink in.
That's how long we've suffered.
And now we're anchored in the bottom 2.
No I'm not, if you had read my post i said Carlton do too which you failed to mention originally.
As for the others I mentioned them and yep have played in losing GF's but Freo have never one one, St Kilda have won one before colour TV was invented, Melbourne won lots since before then and Adelaide 2 in all that time, Dogs, Dons, Pies and Port Adelaide, one each and the rest have won multiples.
Having 4 in the bank, when the others have been starved in the last 50+ years makes me ok to be a Kangas supporter. Of course I would like success who doesnt want it but through thick and thin I say.
We need people in the club who know recruiting, cos we have been starved of decent recruiters and icks for years because we havent tanked, just kept trying to get there. Clearly hasnt worked and now we need to go hard at the draft table
