Captain obvious here, I reckon we’re pushing too many players up the ground defensively and the group of young forwards supporting Brown don’t have the tank to keep running up and down the ground. It’s clear as day I reckon, it’s also responsible for the ease of which the oppo is rebounding out of defence because of lack of forward pressure.

At a base level and I think tazaa mentioned this, if we're supposedly going all in defensively, well fook me it'd be good to see us actually grinding opponents to a halt then.

The complication is that we are playing in a competition which rewards teams for losing by giving them higher draft picks. Under the current system losing a game today might mean you win a lot more games in the future.
I don't know many Hawk supporters who now wish they'd won an extra game in 2004 but had missed out on Roughead and Franklin.

brisbane were not sitting on the bottom with zero wins and 8 points behind us however, IMO this game i a dead rubber, cant see us getting pick 1 regardless of this weeks result.

True, and I don't really want pick 1 to be honest. It's a shit system that rewards losing, but we need to be savvy enough to use the system.
