Awful awful game. Who do we drop, where do we start?

Final round so let's gone a send off for the older players

In
D. Pearce

Sandi (if fit ?)

One of either:
Hughes- blood him. Who cares. He kicked 3, give him a go.
Or Strnadica

Matera

Out
Sheridan- absolute garbage. Hope this is the last time he plays in purple.

Ballas- signed a contract and produced 4 disposals. Matera can do a lot better. Won't get dropped though

Giro

Kersten

Pearce deserves a last game, I believe. Has worked tirelessly at Peel.

Dixon was promising, but I would keep the others. It could be a game of atonement... or the end of the road for a few.

I presume I will be going, so for a better performance I hope Sandi, Hamill, Hill, Matera are available, I will actually be happy To see Pearce play as he souldnt be as bad as those who played today.

I know the forwards are not to blame for that performance but why would you play Ballas next week.

Was at the game today.
I live 20km from Geelong in Barwon Heads, which is technically the City of Greater Geelong, but I shy away from it.
Was there as a 'neutral' but was barracking for Freo.
Living down here is painful althogh I do respect Geelong as a footy club and have many mates as Cats fans.
Your small band of supporters were awesome. Very loud and passionate. Kudos.
Not much else I can say without being patronising.
Although I am glad Freo gave Harley another year. If he gets his body right, it's good times. No brainer in giving him another year just to see if he can do it.

I'm actually getting a little nostalgic about D Pearce playing his last game. Maybe it's just a reminder of that brief time when D Pearce seemed like one of the biggest problems this club had. They were the days.

Those were the days!

Jokes aside, he was handy in 2013/14. Great dribble goal in debut against West Coast. Back when we had more than just hope.

Ins: Meh, whoever. Maybe Strnadica and North to give the game a bit of meaning. Pearce.

Out: The most-cooked out of the entire cooked bunch

D. Pearce can choose to have a send off game or he can stick with Peel and see if they can beat East Perth and extend their season by pushing for finals - the carrot at the end of the WAFL's final would be a 3rd straight premiership for Peel, who I think are a sneaky chance of coming from 5th to snatch it if they can get their best structured team out on the park.

I reckon D. Pearce may opt for just finishing out season with peel with the hope of finals success - he will get special mention in front of members and fans at end of season function and probably at 1st home game next year.

He is one of bet performers at Peel and would hurt their chances of a third straight tilt at the finals to pull him out for a must win match.

In:
Strandica (debut, play as second ruck resting forward), Hamling (if fit we look better with him in), Matera (play as small forward)

Out:
Johnson (doesn't need a send off game, would be better trying to help Peel get into finals), McCarthy (out of form), Ballantyne (out of form)

Freo should be keeping as many in as possible from last week to atone for their crap effort and balance that with sending a few experienced players to Peel to help them make finals again to keep the dream of a third straight premiership alive.

I think Danyle Pearce would probably prefer to try and help restore some dignity to the Freo Dockers before the season finishes rather than help Peel get into finals.

Depending on Fitness:

In: Sandi - DPearce - S Hill - Hamling
Out: McCarthy - Giro - Kersten - Duman

Nyhuis - Hamling - Johnson
Wilson - APearce - S Hill
B Hill - Neale - DPearce
Walters - Cox - Grey
Ballas - Tabs - Darcy

Sandi - Fyfe - Mundy

Langdon - Sherro - Cerra - Banfield

I wouldn't be against Dixon or North getting a gig. Even though we're bringing in some of the old timers it would be nice to balance it out with a debut.

Darcy stays as a ruck/fwd so we can finally trial the Sandi/Darcy combo. Tabs plays as the deepest forward - Marking and hopefully kicking goals. We don't really want him up the ground delivering it into the fwd line.

Gonna be interesting who makes the call and which one it is.
He's bloody fit, maybe he'll play both games.;)

Dixon and Nads - lets see what they got. Give Danyle a send off if he wants one. If not then let North have a crack.

Cannot possibly let Ballantyne and McCarthy have a spot after 4 possessions games.

I dont think the Pies have a very tall backline. Lets stretch em
