Out: Jurrah(inj), Morton, McNamara
In: Petterd, Dunn, Nicholson
Is Petterd going to be fit ??? Id also like to see them give McNamara another shot, and only play Bail if he is 100% fit

In- Fitzpatrick

Out- Jurrah(Inj)

Bail fantastic for Casey on the weekend. He and Fitzpatrick would have to be looked at for this week. Kelvin Lawrence is a really exciting prospect also. Petterd's year is over with his quad.

I know this won't be popular, but I'd bring in Flash for the last round. Obviously his confidence is shot. I wouldn't want him stewing over his form all pre-season. Get him in. Hopefully he can find something and build on it for next year.

Out: Jurrah, Morton, Macnamara

In: Fitzpatrick, Bail, Bate

... But only the first is likely to happen I think. Still, it would be hard to ignore Bate's 38 touches/BoG effort at Casey.

Out: Jurrah, McNamara

In: Bail, Petterd

No other changes necessary, unless they want to give McNamara 2 games in a row. Suggestions for Morton to be dropped once again are unjustified. Keeps his spot.

Hard to ignore unless you'd already decided he isn't a part of the clubs plans going forward. He just hasn't been able to replicate VFL form at AFL level this year. Same with Warnock, Maric and to a lesser extent Petterd (who hasn't been as consistant as we'd like him to be this year) and Morton (who had 3-4 incredible games at VFL level and 13 totally ordinary ones at AFL level)

Would like to see both Tom Mac's retain their spot and Fitzey and maybe Davis come in, but rest whoever is sore or tired. Jurrah, maybe Tapscott, or Morton. It's a very tall backline, but it's giving the youngsters a game.

IN

Davey(needs a good game to finish on)
Bail(nearly BOG for Casey. If pulls up ok, auto inclusion)
Fitzpatrick(replacement for Jurrah down forward. give him a taste)

OUT

Jurrah(injured)
Morton(even by his low standards, was bad on Sunday)
McNamara(Just not up to AFL level)

I'm assuming Petterd won't be fit, and Jurrah won't be risked. I think it's time to give the big Fitz a taste. Davey needs to come in and find some footy and Bail should come in on form from last week. Morton and McNamara don't deserve a spot in our 22 IMO...

Were you watching the same game???
He was terrible, as he has been for the past 2 months. I honestly don't see why he's getting a game while players like Dunn and Bail are sitting on the sidelines.

Bail was scintillating by all reports. For me:

Out: Jurrah, McNamara
In: Bail, Fitz
Bate may have been BOG but he was BOG in the midfield by all reports - and are we seriously going to play him there?

totally agree. Just looks like he is about to crap himself every time the ball comes near him. A liability at the moment. My only guess is they are trying to squeeze a decent game out of him to either decide whether there is enough upside to keep him on the list, or to increase trade value.

There is this sick obsession with scrutinising Morton at the moment that has a lot of fans so blinkered that they fail to notice when he positively contributes to the team. They have spent the year verbally reaming the guy out, and now it is easier to continue to do so and use him as a scapegoat whenever suggesting team changes Morton than it is to suck up your pride and change your opinion. Granted he is not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but was by no means in the bottom 3 worst players on the ground last week. Morton haters need to pull their head in.

He may not have been the worst on ground, but he's never been in our best players come gameday and it beats me how he was a #4 draft pick.

Tall, quick, enormous tank, fantastic disposal, leadership potential. What's not to love? Recruiters can't tell that a bloke will lose faith in his body, ability and crap himself anytime the ball or another player goes near him in 3 years time.

wtf is the point of bringing Bail in, a guy who hasn't played since round 8 or something for a dead rubber against the spooners?

OUT: Jurrah (inj)

IN: Fitzpatrick - blood him before preseason. Possibly give Lawrence a game as well, to assess his attributes at the highest level.

Something which can easily change. Still a very talented player.
