You're being a bit harsh on Beams. He is playing solidly. If your going to drop anyone it should be Barham. Some how the AFL gave him the rising star nomintaion last week, based on stats, not effectiveness, ahead of someone more deserving such as Beams.

He has very poor disposal, which was highlighted again today.

Pretty close to the mark except maybe Macaffer stays in and Sidebottom remains in the 2's for a little longer.

The kid knows how the do everything. Although his miss on 3 quarter time was disappointing.

Undroppable on his potential alone. His current output puts him in our best 22 and he has a great mentality and resolve and I doubt he'd be falling away from that output till later in the year when fatigue will possibly set in.

Next weeks game against Roos is at Etihad under the roof so wet weather shouldn't be a factor.

R. Shaw for Barham - F*#$, that's right we traded Shaw to Sydney. Perhaps we need to persist with Barham unless Corrie plays a blinder in the VFL.

Shaw will probably be rested for another week. If not Shaw for Toovey.

I'd give Cox another shot, but dropping him might be the kick in the backside he needs.

Nothing against O'bree, he does his job for us week in, week out, but the sooner we get Sidebottom and McCarthy, and also Dawes back into our Senior side, the better our future will be.

After what happened yesterday, we really have to ask if we continue to play players like Rocca, Lockyer, L.Brown and O'bree every week, or do we start to alternate them with the "future" of our football club.

I know the answer already, no chance in hell as long as MM is coach.

Cox has been good offensively all year. But he needs to be shown you won't make it in the back half if you can't ****ing defend. At least TRY!

Toovey to stay in for another week, otherwise Campbell and Thomas will run riot as usual. He is actually good defensively, and against a side with good smalls, he's needed until we have better options!
