Looks like Polec will be back to play against us. Has been dropped for the last 3 games but kicked 3 goals and played well in their last seconds match. Will be keen to do well against his old team and prove a point to his coach. Him at his best is very damaging so we will need to stop him, assuming he is picked.

Yes well the Lions only just beat them by a point a couple of weeks ago and they will have a fair bit of confidence after they destroyed us last year.
Hopefully the coaches have got our heads right for this game.
We owe the Roos one.

Probably a question for another thread but does Watts even get another contract? If his body is failing him he could be in trouble. We have a first round pick half back coming through the draft/NGA as well.
He's gone (unfortunately)

Unfortunate for Ebert. But should seriously consider retiring.

Hoff is cooked. Don't care about his junk time goal.

Give Marshall sometime to get touch back.

Sutcliffe meh

Out: Hoff, Ebert, Sutcliffe, Bonner
In: Georgiades, Houston, Woodcock and Farrell (hopefully the spell has made him hungry and more aggressive)

I like the idea of giving Dan an unenforced week off to go with the last two but I don't think we'd take that risk heading into finals. His form before suspension wasn't world beating, hopefully this has sparked him.

I'm guessing if Ebo does need a break, Motlop comes back in but I'd rather Woodcock.

I don't really mind if Sutcliffe stays in. There, I've said it. I feel better already.

Worried about Zak. That didn't look good.

What’s with the ebert hysteria, he copped a knock to the cheek but it wasn’t concussion.

He is out of form though, and may struggle to keep his spot purely on form.

His legs weren't under him after that knock. That doesn't happen for a sore cheek.

I think our meds are being negligent. There's no way he should have come back on

Think Polecat has told North he wants out?
That being the case and that he couldn't make a side with only 28 players to choose from that is maybe 2nd only to the Crows as the worse in the AFL tells me North don't have him in the 2s on form. Be surprised if North play him again?
Or trade with us again anytime soon[emoji848]

Ladhams should come in for Westy. Unfortunate for Westy but he isn’t in the best 22, but I think due to many years of service will keep his spot - probably retires end of year so I have a feeling Ken let’s him stay in.... could be wrong.

Putting aside that getting hit on the cheekbone is still getting hit in the head, you don't need to be hit in the head to suffer a concussion.

With Brown still injured, no chance of him kicking 10 this year. Polec and Pittard must really be on the outer not to get a game for North’s given their injury list.

If we are picking best available team: Houston, Woodcock and MG(if fit) for Bonner, Sutcliffe and Westhoff.

But it’s potentially a good game to play Hayes. 2 rucks against North’s would be handy, given the form that Goldstein is in and Westhoff may struggle against the strength of Daw. Tough debut for a young ruck though, against one of the best rucks in the modern game.

Brown may be back for the game against us - listed as 1 - 2 weeks earlier in the week.

Out: Sutcliffe
In: Woodcock

Just the one change.
I'll give Marshall one more week, however a game like yesterday and he is back out.
Houston can wait.
