Firstly i hope PAV and Elvis don't play in the dream team. I'd rather the whole group has the week off and re-groups for benefit of the rest of our season.

Out:
Murphy, Thorton, McManus, Gilmore, O'Brien, Foster

In:
Warnock, Bradley, Headland, Grover, Hayden, Duffield

Let's try and get a run on like we did in '06. Get all the boys out to Rick's farm and have it out...

I hope there are some people eating humble pie about CC.

Surely Duffield has had his chance this year....would rather keep working our way through our entire list & see who wants to be here next year.

B Hayden McPharlin Grover
HB Drum Johnson Dodd
C Headland Ibbotson Mundy
HF Solomon Tarrant Bradley
F Farmer Pavlich Bell
R Sandilands Palmer Crowley

Int O'brien Foster Warnock Head

Hayden and Grover the obvious ones to come back, assuming they are fit. Hopefully with 3 weeks off they'll be good to go.

Warnock in for Gilmore. Warnock gets far more hitouts, and averages more clearances. Gilmore isn't even competitive in the ruck at the moment.

O'Brien and Foster can stay, i don't like dropping young blokes after just one game. Also with Hayden back in Brock can spend more time in the middle.

Mark Johnson doesn't get the same luxury. Plus we are exceeding our blonde midfielders quota. It's getting ridiculous in the middle at the moment.

Thornton can also say goodbye, not because he's blonde, because he refuses to kick the ball. Just. Kick. The. Bloody. Thing. Admittedly on Sunday he didn't get the chance to kick as he didn't get anywhere near it. Also the mascot needs a break and Scotty is the perfect replacement.

Bradley can come in for Murphy and play as a leading half forward/wing. He's not allowed inside our defensive 50 though. Under any circumstances. Ever.

Ins - Bradley, Warnock, Headland, Hayden, Grover, Head
Out- Murphy, Gilmore, Schammer, Ma. Johnson, Macca, Thornton

Exactly who i'd include and exactly who i'd shaft, except i'd probably start with one or two more kids on the ground as getting them into the game earlier seems to help them.

Keplar deserves his chance after playing well all year in the wafl - he'll try his hardest at least which you can't expect from Murph.

We need a 2nd ruckmen, Gilmore can't seem to do it anymore and whenever Sandi is off the ball, the other team gets on top and we forever struggle to arrest the oppositions momentum...

Des, Hayden and Grover are walk up starts and required players. We especially struggled in defence without Hayden and Grover and we are missing Dessies class through the guts.

Foster and Brock should get another crack, esp. considering there isn't anyone beating down the door in the wafl to replace them anyway. They are extremely young, promising and were playing on the road.

And Josh Head MUST get a game now! He deserved to be in the team a month ago!!

I doubt we'll drop Schammer, but
Ins - Bradley, Warnock, Headland, Hayden, Grover, Head, Mayne
Out- Murphy, Gilmore, Foster, Ma. Johnson, Macca, Thornton, ???

looks pretty good, probably drop foster, he looked outclassed to me.

I doubt all of Hayden/Headland/Grover will be back in one hit.

I think they should base their selections in round 8 based on their training over the next two weeks.

Then once this team is selected, tell all the players, other than injury you will not get dropped for one or two bad games. After their third game in a row, you may be dropped for playing 3 bad games in a row.

There are many Fremantle players which get one game then back to the WAFL, play 4 WAFL games, come back into the team, get dropped again.

Warnock, surely he needs to play!
Duffield, give him at least 2 more games to prove his worth.
Brock, same as Duffield.

Players I would drop are the people like McManus, Mark. Johnson, players that have had their time in the sun.

If Harvey is serious about picking a "hungry" side, then the changes for round 8 should be;

OUT:
Murphy
Gilmore
Mic Jonno
Thornton
Mundy

IN:
Grover
Bradley
Head
Hayden
Headland

I've left skill level aside and chosen purely on hunger/tryers.

Headland has to come in but would have 1 week to prove his hunger as he's not known for showing it consistantly in the past.

Ins: Brett Peake, Josh Head, Roger Hayden, Antoni Grover, Des Headland

Outs: Shaun Mcmanus, Scott Thornton, Mark Johnson, Daniel Gilmore, Ryan Murphy

I thought Thornton was absolutly P*** poor, as was murphy. I was ashamed to be a freo supporter while watching that game.

Im going to see the Freo V Carlton game in 3 weeks and i aint looking forward to it considering how inconsistent we are.

Notice the name Thornton coming up a bit. Does anyone at Freo still rate him? In 2006 when you guys had your big run in the 2nd half of the year, he was missing for much of it through injury and I made the comment at the time that I didn't believe it was coincidence. Not many agreed. :o

IMHO you look shaky and capable of leaking goals every time he pulls the jumper on.

Far too tall. Can't play Sandi, Warnock and Bradley. Sure Bradley is mobile, but we struggle to fit both Warnock and Sandi in and not lose mobility so another giant wont work.

For me:

Ins - Warnock, Headland, Hayden, Grover, Head, Mayne
Out- Murphy, Gilmore, Schammer, Ma. Johnson, Macca, Thornton

HB Johnson Drum Head

I agree Bradley does deserve a go, but he should only be used up forward, and our forward structure should be 2 talls and 4 medium/smalls as per Geelong. You might say the hawks have 3 or more talls, but they don't have 2 giant ruckman who might need to rest up forward/bench. Bradley should only be in at Tarrants expense and I think Tarrant deserves another game based on last weekend.

Also the following should not get another game at Freo, unless we have a huge injury list:

Mark Johnson
McManus
Peake
Matt Carr
Thornton
Gilmore
Campbell

I believe we should exhaust all other options this year to fully evaluate our list and its capabilities.

Changes.
Need at least 15 Midfielders working around our Key Position Players and Ruckman. Team like Geelong and Hawthorn have at least 14-16 players who can play a midfield role in their team each week. Hence why they can out run their oppisition. For example Hawthorn have Franklin Roughead Croad and Brown as KPP. Rucks Campbell and Taylor. All the rest are can play a midfield role. Geelong have Scarlett Harley Mooney and Hawkins as KPP. Rucks Ottens and Blake. With the rest playing in and out of the midfield. Fremantle needs to do the same if they want to get somewhere. The game has changed. Less KPP's and more midfielders/runners.
Ill let you guys come up with a team.

His strength was his speed and long kicking Nicoski style, but like that player he just doesnt seem to use it anymore and is now very one dimensional. At his height he should be playing KP but he doesn't have the weight to match it due to his medical condition.

Haha Mundy as the scapegoat, one of the few players who wanted to play on the weekend singled out once again. Shocking, god damn shocking. Yes I may be a fan of his, but this constant barrage he gets is not warranted and just shows how pathetic some of this clubs supporters have become. Sure we aren't the greatest team and we have not had success, but you are all acting like bandwagoners who have no clue.

Couldn't agree more. I had the pleasure of being at the game. Mundy is more desperate than most. Importantly, is clearly our best at hitting targets, stands in tackles and skills are near on A grade. FFS

And why should Ryan Murphy get a game over any of this group? EVERY one of that list tries harder than Murph, well with maybe a question mark over Peake.

Brett Peake in? Are you serious? This is surely a misprint. He's likely to be dropped to EF reserves since he's not good enough to play for senior sharks atm.
