The first final will be 5 weeks from the time Darcy injured his hamstring. Seeing it was his good leg I would’ve thought 5 weeks would make him a good chance.

I really can't see Aish being dropped for Trelore. It could be something like Murphy out for Trelore and move Varcoe back, only problem is Varcs best footy is up forward.
We need all the experience we can so Aish is a lock for mine.
Darce if fit has to play, Kennedy and darling will kill Madgen, could get ugly.
In Howe, Trelore Moore
Out Oxley Murphy Madgen
With Varcoe to play half back

So who do we prefer wce or richmond?

Obviously wce at the G is best option but its unlikely, to much needs to go right

Anyone, anywhere, anytime. This is the attitude we need to have.

Personally, I’d love to play Richmond in the grand final and have treloar win the norm smith.

How bad was the injury to WHE’s knee?

WHE has been proppy/off his best for weeks now, since injuring his knee - is it the same knee? Dont know, but I hope it can be fixed over the next two weeks. And whatever is wrong with Cox that has hindered his kicking. And JDG's leg/bone problem which is also hampering him.

Its not just the injured players that we can't get on the paddock. Its the guys on the paddock who are playing on with injuries/niggles.

Extraordinary to find ourselves in this position, with a double chance in the finals. Gobsmacking.

What an amazing performance from Goldsack to get back on the park playing in the same year he had a knee reco. He must be a real chance now to play in the seniors if we go deep into finals.
Bucks mentioned risk versus reward when talking about Goldy. There’s a big risk with his knee being re-injured. It takes at least 9 months for tendon to turn into a ligament so inside that time the risk of damage is huge. That’s my concern.

No chance they’re making 4 changes. Anyway, Goldsack isn’t ready, and Treloar is unlikely.

Too late to make massive structural changes. Go with the same side bar the returns
Howe in for a defender ox
Treloar if fit for Murphy
Moore sack or apples for Magden maybe depending on match ups but a hell of a risk given injury history
I'd make just 1 change 2 if Treloar is fit

Goldsack looked a bit proppy and slow yesterday. He would have to make a dramatic improvement in the VFL final next week to play in the qualifying final. Appleby played well yesterday. He puts pressure on Oxley. I would keep playing Murphy in the senior side. His kicking which is generally good was off yesterday but he'll continue to prove. We have no chance of winning a premiership without Treloar or Moore. Treloar comes into the the first final. We roll the dice with Moore and play him in the second final. My changes for the qualifying final:
In: Howe, Treloar
Out: Oxley, ???
In the mix at some point: Appleby, Moore (second or third final if we make it to replace Madgen)

Out. Murphy, Magden, Oxley
In: Treloar, Moore, Howe

Maynard, Langdon, Crisp
Howe, Moore, Aish
Varcoe, Pendlebury, Phillips
Thomas, Cox, Hoskin-Elliott
Stephenson, De Goey, Mihocek

R: Grundy, Adams, Sidebottom

I: Sier, Greenwood, Mayne, Treloar

If Treloar and Moore are available, I think it will be something like the above. Apples a chance if we think we need a pure lockdown backman, but I'm not sure he'll be considered.

I think Greenwood probably gets the opposition's best small, like he did Wingard.

Given Treloar is 50 50 for week 1 does that put a line through him? Given he is a running player and did both it is a risk as big as Moore. Missed 8 weeks and counting
Just like his footy game, in his recovery program he has left nothing in the tank. His attitude and application to the necessary work has been mind boggling as has been his ermmm .. . enthusiasm . . . for a return - which Bucks will agree with vehemently lol.

If any player can do it he can.

1. Surgeon and club doc pass him fit
2. Performs at full tilt in training
3. VROOM, VROOM

In : Howe, Moore if 100%
Out : Oxley, Murphy
If we play WC we need to go taller down back.
Moore > Kennedy
Madgden/Howe > Darling

Is Kennedy going to be fit to play? He's still out with injury.
