I will be very disappointed if Silvagni plays. Concussion is far more serious than those involved with AFL seem to think. There is absolutely nothing to gain from bringing Silvagni back for a meaningless game.

Someone fix this post quote so people using iPhones can actually read the posts.

Don't you get a big fine if you get do something suspendable in your last game?

Didn't Alistair Lynch do that in the GF one year? I can't really remember the game, but I'm pretty sure he went out there belting people left right and center...

Baz won't do anything. You can tell he worked pretty hard to restore his name after the Staker incident.

Thats true and its not like we're playing for sheep stations. The odd biff under the ear or knocking over anyone who gets in the way will probably all he needs to do.

I wouldn't be giving him any shit or trying any Scott Thompson wrestling stuff however.

With Buco suspended we are down to 23 fit players - 22 possibly if spag fails a fitness test. That means no emergencies this weekend.

Surely we could activate a rookie in these circumstances.

Don't want to start a new thread, but it has been lost in all the other club news that Keplar is playing his 100th game this week.
I'm just making the team banner now and completely forgot his milestone as we have Farewell Schammer as well.

Well done Keppllaarrgghhhh on an awkward 100 afl games!! :)

!!!

Missed that, too. Love him. Really disappointed he got lost in the second half of the season. Kicked the goal of the year, too, and it not even got nominated as goal of the week...

Just heard Harvey on SEN. Sibosado and Shepheard have both been elevated. Bucovaz is over in Melbourne awaiting his appeal. Obviously Bollenhagen is playing.

Rhys Palmer out with a groin injury.

From Facebook:

"Ben Bucovaz's appeal against a striking charge has been upheld by the WAFL Tribunal, meaning he is free to play against the Western Bulldogs this Saturday at Etihad Stadium."
