Gilham to Tippet
Stratton to Walker
Birchall to whoever Adelaide's 3rd tall is?
Murphy to Porplyszia

The dangerous matchup for mine Nev - I suspect that Tippett would be all over Gilham if the ball is delivered in the air & will outmuscle him if the ball comes in 1-on-1. Not too sure Schoey would do any better either.

For mine we have to consider dropping Renouf back to sure up the defense - but the last thing we need is for our ruckman to drag Maric deep into their attack.

+ Adelaide have a big list of injuries, McLeod probably won't play. They reckon Bock's a chance to get up.

Regardless of Changa being cited, he was absolute crapola...I don't know what has happened to him but he is shite atm...

Ellis is another that just seems to be missing something his kicking is atrocious, lacks penetration and continually does short shit kicks, Clarko needs to beat it out of him...kick long and direct, I am sick of his short crap

Roughie is playing like an absolute pig-dog atm, he needs to be rested or have a crack in the 2's...just totally disinterested, yes he laid a couple of tackles but for someone we just signed for 4yrs, he is also playing shite

Positives - Murphy on Motlop, yes I have been the first to bag him but he did a really good job yesterday KUDOS :thumbsu:

Stratton, again he backs himself in markign contests, I love it...a super backman for us :thumbsu:

I also thought Laddo's game was suprub, back to his 2008 form :thumbsu:

Final one to Renouf, his timely marks, his ruck work improvement and his gut running :thumbsu:

I wish to also discuss our kicking backwards with 5 minutes to go yesterday, at one stage we were nearly in our forward 50M then we decided to kick it almost back to our full back line WTF? clubs above us will smash us if we do that crap...

Outs: Bateman, Dasher (if he doesn't come up)

Ins: Buddy and Shoey (as we will need some height in our backline)

FWIW we've gone a bit smaller up forward recently seeing as Stevens has been moved down back to cover for Bock (and now Davis). This leaves Tippett and Walker as our two tall forwards and Dangerfield as the mid sized forward. As far as smalls go, we've had Porplyzia and Petrenko in there (not doing much though) and Douglas and Sloane rotating through there so I wouldn't be rushing in too many tall backmen if I were you guys.

Changa is out.

Chance Bateman, Hawthorn, has been charged with a Level One misconduct offence in that he kneed Daniel Stewart, Port Adelaide, during the third quarter of the Round 11 match between Hawthorn and Port Adelaide, played at the MCG on Sunday June 6, 2010.

In summary, his previous poor record means that his one-match sanction must remain at one match, even with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level One offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has an existing poor record of four matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 40 per cent to 175 demerit points. He also has 19.69 points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty to 194.69 points and a one-match sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to 146.02 points and a one-match sanction.

I wouldn't be swapping Sheils with anyone. Spent a large portion of the game shadowing Cornes- did a good job. Check Cornes' stats for further proof.
i bloody hope not. Cornes was shadowing Mitchell so if Shiels was following Cornes then that might be why Travis Boak carved us up.

The Crows will be without McLeod.
Bock is struggling.
Vince will be tested.
Edwards is done.
Davis has done his collarbone.

There's some quality missing for the Crows.

Vince wont play regardless, he's yet to serve his internal one-match suspension in the SANFL.

Davis only has a bruised collarbone supposedly, but he'll most likely be rested for a week.

If Bock isn't fit, it's possible that Talia will play his debut game. Symes was solid in the SANFL last weekend so Craigy will probably give him a go.

OUT:

Davis (concussion)
Edwards (retired)
McLeod (knee)

IN:

Bock
Symes
Gunston

Ladson ain't going out. Has that 2008 look about him after an arse kicking in the magoos. Needs another chance to see if it has sunk in or is short lived

Out: bateman, whitex, Ladson

in: muston, shoenmakers, Franklin

If young misses- rotate musto, burgs, Lewis, birch etc through the wings and bring in Breust.

Totaly agree he looked good got to keep playing him atleast while Brown is out.

Um...Whitecross and Ladson were our leading goalscorers on the weekend. They both showed poise and skill when needed - Why you would want to replace two players with proven footskills finding form with two guys who have constantly turned the ball over this season is beyond belief.

Muston has to tear up games at Box Hill to force his way in - as does Shoey who is young and our future but needs to improve his disposal and poise under pressure especially if he is going to hold a key defensive post.

Laddo & Whitexross both kicked 2 on the weekend - this is what Hoops has been doing for us - unless he is coming back I can't see why we would drop either of these two - especially with the number Laddo did on Pearce for most of the game.

Bateman out
Buddy in

(If) Young out
JKT in

I want to see Schoey back in next week - just don't think anyone deserves to be dropped after the way our defence has held up the last few weeks

True, but Bock and Vince didn't play last week, Davis got smacked earlyish on and put out, McLeod very quiet with 9 disposals, the only one who did any damage of any of those was Edwards obviously with 32 touches and 2 goals in his swansong game. So apart from him we're basically the same as last week's team who did Freo, and Bock is a possible in yet (haven't checked latest injury status though).
