Do you think D Mac will be selected in the 22 this week?

No, it's really not.
Playing DMac, Douglas, Jacobs, Thompson, VB, Betts etc we'll past their due by date ahead of more talented and younger players at the expense of the future led to a massive drop off in overall list experience.
Please, do go and argue otherwise.

And you believe we are doing the same now do you ?? That's what you inferred

That would be wrong, but please argue otherwise.

Hope you are not suggesting we need DMack's experience?

Of course not but 13 players with less than 50 AFL games experience is roughly 60% of the selected 22.

It's certainly right up there with:

- Bringing Scott Thompson in for 1 game in 2017 when he was totally cooked, replacing Hugh Greenwood

- Bringing in Van Berlo against North Melbourne instead of Hartigan, a game we proceeded to lose by 10 points with North's 3 talls dominating

- Bringing in Gallucci to Brisbane for one week who we then drop for an omitted Mackay who didn't play any SANFL

- Bringing in Brad Crouch for the first time to play alongside his brother Matt but then demoting Matt to the sub

- Bringing in Sam Jacobs and Richard Douglas to play a final dead rubber game against Western Bulldogs away before delisting them both immediately after

- Dropping Matt Crouch after he had 25 disposals as a young kid

Plus many more I'm sure I'll think of soon

Mackay 3 games before Sholl gets a debut last year. That's current player Lachlan Sholl.

Anybody remember the dimwits last year that believed Hamill would have played ahead of Dmac if he was right to go? Even though he was playing the SANFL scratch matches. Like Hamill would win a selection showdown against Mackay. Hilarious stuff, people are so funny.
Same people are telling us to calm down it's not something to be concerned with.

I remember all of these unfortunately. Shows you why we suck. Terrible decision making club.

lol

The change was pretty simple, leave O'connor in and drop ******* Mackay.
A big part of their gameplan/structure this year is Clearly to have a number of smaller attacking defenders/outside mids. They were never going to drop both Mackay and Hamill. So why even bother suggesting it? Ronin’s exclusion has nothing to do with Mackay. Bang on about Mackay all you want. I’m pissed about it too. But don’t have a go at me for trying to have discussion about something unrelated
