There's no GWS specific midfield game plan. It would've been, "look guys, they've got a bloody strong unit. If they get on top, don't panic, trust in each other and the system, make no changes except try to play our way a bit better. It'll eventually turn as long as you change nothing."

Bearing in mind the current form of Walker, and the fact that B Smith will be nowhere near his best, you’d hardly say the side we’re putting out there tonight is significantly better than the one that got done at Adelaide Oval a couple of months ago. Seedsman and Talia are crucial outs too.

None of the key GWS outs this week (Greene, Deledio, D Simpson) played in that game either.
