We don't have good small forward depth. I don't think we could afford to lose him.

How are his skills as well?

Can't remember him being an elite kick of the ball.

Struggles to kick over a proverbial jam tin.

Not an accumulator or a goal kicking threat, his main attribute is pressure/tackling, so I can see why people speculate about putting him in the backline as a lockdown defender.

Obviously Noted that JL has been Hopelessly out coached in the first two games, it is the biggest worry.
my suggestion in the above scenario is to put Serong back and get him to tag Jordan, reverse the role, at least it is showing that hes thinking in the coaches box

They’ve overrated our list IMO. But I do think it’s a top eight list and coaching/game plan is the main reason it isn’t performing that way. I think a lot is based off what our players can do at their best and tbh no one has been close to it except maybe Treacy against Sydney yet.

We should only be performing slightly worse with the injuries we have btw.

Cox plays 1 bad game and knives are out. The guy was in AA squad in 2022 and is just coming into his prime now and just signed a contract until 2030. So they had better get used to him.

Playing 9 defenders round one made no sense.

Not playing Brodie and Aish with Fyfe and Young out makes no sense.

Pick senior guys with cool heads on the bench, not guys like Worner and Erasmus who melt under pressure.

We should think twice before trading away a king's bounty in picks for Kozzie or Warner since our list has too many untalented hacks collecting pay for shit efforts.

Our 2013-2015 run was built largely on the front half pressure of Ballantyne, Walters, Mayne and deBoer.

He had a disposal efficiency of like 42%, that's genuinely hard to do. I dont know why we need to beat around the bush on it.

Will be interesting to see if Erasmus is in the 23 on Friday.

Pretty sure we lack for small mids and a genuine contested beast in the 187-191cm range mid.
Then there is Darcy as the only first ruck, lose Pearce and it’s dire. Our
Best 22 is outstanding, but when do they all stay fit?
Young is our best mid, offensive and defensively.
There are players who could become best 22, but under JLo who knows?

Maybe need play Voss in the goal square and both Treacy and amiss leading out. They can also move up the ground more. Voss is strong like an px, so hopefully he mark it 5 metres out and not miss, which would be a bonus
