Erasmus couldn’t even get in with JOM Out.
Ras can't even get to be named an emergency. But Banfield is...
Bizarro world, feel for Ras, just consigned to the dustbin by JLo.

That said, much as it pains me to lose my 2025 BF Board Buddy James "Jamie" Hhh'AishyHaitch from the team, seeing both JOM and Banfield out of the team far outweighs any sadness on my part.

Equally rapt that OMac has kept his spot and Pearce is fit enough to play after that little impact incident at training.

Will be keen to see how The Narc QNark goes, especially defensively, he has a real opportunity to show chase pressure and tackle hard.

But geez the AFL site named half forward line is surely not right, we're really starting out with 3 short people across the half forward line and three bigs in the full forward line? Our tallest slowest forward pocket players in a while.
I'm sure that ultra clever JLo pre game tactic has the Crows fully fooled...

Think Matt Johnson is pretty fortunate tbh. Coasting on a reputation I'm not really sure he's earned.

Looks like it's over for Raz not even being an emergency and all. If the season slips away from us I wonder if we'll give him some games to boost his value or do we just write off the top 10 pick investment and take a 4th rounder for him. Probably depends on who is coaching us.

Aish to run with Rankine. Makes it simple, Aish can play onball and in defence.
I really think this was the matchup that makes most sense. Seriously, not just as the Aish Buddy Dude for 2025.
Aish has shown he can be really good at tagging, and still has enough ability to get separation to hurt going the other way. Which Rankine and similar types are very open to be exposed by.

We just seem to have decided no tagging ever - and just a shadow half follow role for Johnson, but only at stoppages and centre square work, not a proper intense whole game tag approach. Just a bizarre decision, especially when the gamestyle also has so much stop start, long down the line to contests kicking.

Pretty sure we've seen enough.

We absolutely have not seen enough to know for sure one way or another. He might indeed be a dud, but we can't know that when he has only played 11 full games (which have mostly been "OK" and not terrible) and he hasn't had a continuous run to adjust to senior football.

The thinking would now be "he needs a full game in the WAFL", cause we've kept him out of any football for 2 weeks. That's why he isn't an emergency.

Still think we’re a bit tall. Draper may play on Rochelle or Rankin. He has been playing on smalls.

I just don’t see the three talls (Draper, Pearce, Cox) plus two additional medium taller types in Ryan’s en Chapman is working too well.

I would play an extra mid like Erasmus.

What stand out glimpses of his attributes would have you saying 'yep, there's definitely an AFL quality footballer here, just needs a 12th game"?

Meanwhile we’ve seen JOM played 40 games for Fremantle.

Players deserve a chance when others have milked theirs.
Switkowski should be next if he continues his form

Seen enough of
JOM
Switkowski
Worner
Johnson

Yet they’re still getting kicked. Can’t just push Aish, Erasmus and Brodie to the corner when so many haven’t performed
The only one of those that aren't c-grade or garbage is Johnson, and that is only on potential. There have been glimpses.

Everyone else has already hit their ceiling and are 🥔
