Adelaide board concerned about Thilthorpe ruckimg . Not sure if its because they're concerned he'll get an injury or isn't mich chop as a ruck.

He is 201cm and very good at protecting the drop of the ball. I dont see the issue as Darcy is our second ruck.

English struggled with the bounce last year ,as the Adelaide ruck (O'Brien?) was much better at reading the bounce & getting his big arse to protect the drop of the ball. But when the ball was thrown uo , English thrived. I watched English closely that game as it was during a period we were all down on him.

Suggestions on the Adelaide board that O'Brien is still working his way back, from injury? Good result for us. Let's win the stoppage & win the game.

We dont want to have to use Thilthorpe as hes too good to take away from the forward line and more chance of knee on knee in ruck. O'Briens not injured. Hes playing in the reserves. McAndrew has gone past him with the new ruck rules

Picked for Round 1 suggests he was picked based on his pre season and form in the lead up games albeit practice matches.

Injury -concussion usually a week so not as though it was a hammy where he missed 2 or more weeks

He is named in the VFL side

He also let Zorko off the chain in the first half of Round 0. Bramble out performed him as a defensive forward.

Arty will be back, but it may be after a few VFL games. He's more of an offensive threat but Bramble covers more ground and is more adept defensively.

Davidson and Hynes are probably the two who are playing their role but are among the last couple of players picked

Hynes has done some nice things but he’s definitely the 23rd player at the moment. Perhaps he was chosen over Arty because Adelaide often out muscle us.

No same as last year in height. We have never had that 200cm defender. All though Butts and Muzza only 5cm off.
