So I haven't seen the Suns game yet by virtue of being in Europe, so I'm purely going off the stats sheet, but...

OUT: OMac (if the below happens), Wagner
IN: Gawn (if fit), Stretch

Don't think Gawn is likely to come in for another two weeks at least, if not three. Hogan much more likely to play on Queen's Birthday

Gawn won't be back, Hogan is unlikely according to Mahoney.

I'd like to drop OMac for Salem because the Pies aren't a tall forwardline, but aside from that wouldn't make any changes.

Gawn definitely won't play

Hogan highly unlikely

Elliot could be a big out for the pies.

Will be interesting to see what Goodwin does at selection. I'd leave Omac in as it allows us to free up Tmac without having Gawn and hogan.

Salem for Wagner. He didn't do anything wrong but we are a better side with Salem in for mine

Dunn has played the most games in the comp currently without playing a final. Would love to see him get one but not Collingwood though

I suspect he loves being there because he actually gets a game amongst the desolate wasteland that is your key position stocks, but thanks for the input Taylor, hopefully you're still in contact with plenty of GWS players so you can live vicariously through them come September.

Salem will come back in. Can't work out who for. Wagner stats IMO. I really like Harmes but he may make way despite his GC game. Melksham won't go and ANB probably stays. That leaves Omac who is a chance to go out.
Do we bring Spencer in with no VFL game? I'd bring Gawn in without one.

Mayne might come in for Collingwood. Put Melksham on him and have a spud off.

In: Salem, (Hogan, Gawn or Spencer)

Out: Neal-Bullen ( O Mac, Bugg)

If Hogan comes in it will Allow T Mac to stay in defence, Frost and Wagner as the other 2 big defenders.

If we can get a ruckman back it'll allow Pedersen to play forward, Bugg makes way as he's been playing a bit of a marking forward role and 2 goals 9 for year has been to wasteful. This can also allow Petracca to move further up in the midfield.

Hogan, Watts and Pedo will give us our best forward targets all year.

Hogan, Watts, Pedersen, Gawn, Petracca, Garlett, and Hannan will be a handful for any defence to deal with once they've had some games together and the forward set up clicks. Hopefully Kent can get his act together because he really does add another string to the bow (with his pace and ability to hit up targets from anywhere around the 50), although perhaps he's competing for the same spot as Hannan.

What's the QB attendance record? I reckon this week we'll give it a shake

Don't think so mate as the record crowd for queens bday is actually the all time biggest home and away crowd of 99,346 way back in 1958.

biggest queens birthday crowd since 1990 was way back in 2006 when 78,000 was in attendance.

Think the crowd will be between 70-75,000

Salem can't come in for Harmes when Harmes is basically playing as a leadup forward option and Salem is going to play hbf/mid. The only outs for Salem would be Melksham or Wagner, Melksham was good last week but as much as I rate Salem I wouldn't mind if they made him play a week in the VFL.

The Melk isn't getting dropped after that game.

I agree, but just pointing out the position Salem plays and who could come out.

I've done some more thinking on why ANB could perhaps be more valuable than we originally thought. He smashed the time trials in preseason and has been playing that high half forward/mid role, and when you think about it we don't really have a lot of guys in the side renowned for their ability to run all day. It also pisses me the **** off when they persist with Bugg in this stupid forward role, I don't care if he is getting shots HE ISN'T A SKILLED PLAYER HE IS A ****ING TAGGER **** IT IS SO STUPID THAT THEY KEEP DOING IT

edit - sorry just had to vent because they've been playing Bugg out of position for two seasons now and it is so ridiculous

I'd like to see Salem come back in possibly for Wagner. Need blokes with poise who can use it well, especially on such a big stage.
Sounds like neither Gawn or Hogan will get up which is a shame but Pies have a few injury worries of their own with Elliot and Wells hurt yesterday but apparently also Greenwood and Goldsack.
