Apparently Watts in full training and Gawn doing sprints. Joel Smith doing tackling drills and Gus also doing some work.

Hibberd will run off Greenwood pretty easily. Tyson's the easy one to tag for usI'm not going to lie his name popped into my head when thinking of examples of similar moves.
To interject on one theme I've seen pop up which is the need to score 85+ and I don't personally subscribe to that as an indicator of success for either team. I would look deeper at the cause of that scoring. Both teams are lacking firepower due to varying reasons, IMO, but have still managed to find avenues to goal. The key for me is control of the ball.
The two teams are ranked #2 and #3 for disposals per game, #1 and #2 for uncontested possessions and #4 and #5 for clearances. What I think will take place is that both teams will have periods where they own the ball and control the contest, but the result will hinge on who capitalises most on that control. The Demons midfield has bullied Collingwood's over the past two years so it'll be interesting to see which club puts the most time into which players.
I'm not normally an advocate of defensive roles, but I would send Greenwood to someone this week if he gets up for the clash (probably Hibberd) and I expect Vince to go with Pendlebury. Overall it's a tantalising matchup because I get the sense that it's the type of game that both sets of supporters go into viewing as the sort of match their own club usually drops.

Why would you tag Dom? The opposition would be licking their lips every time he touches the ball!Hibberd will run off Greenwood pretty easily. Tyson's the easy one to tag for us

Agreed. Jones is the obvious tag option, he struggles with it a bit now he is more of an outside player.
Sorry Russian Demon et al. It's been preying on my mind and I just haven't had time to write one. I meant to but had unavoidable intrusion of life issues. I haven't even been able to watch any footy this weekend. Went on the AFL website last night to check scores and results and quickly switched it off thinking I was hallucinating.Where is the Collingwood bantz thread?
Another crisitunity match. Also A loss makes next week even more crucial, suddenly gold Coast have crept up the ladder and they face Carlton at metricon, a win we get a bit of a buffer and then have an opportunity to overtake the dogs which isn't easy because it's at Etihad but definitely winnable considering the dogs aren't what they were last year.Monday is actually huge now woth the results.
Win = jump Freo, WC and Essendon into 6th
Lose = drop to 11th.
Biggest game this club has played in a long, long time.Monday is actually huge now woth the results.

I've erased that game from my memory. You should do the same.Uhmm.. everyone forgetting the Carlton game last year when we were still a chance of finals?

If anyone wants to start a random, briefly introduced banter thread I would be very greatful. Something simple like Pies suck should do it.
Rosebury (8), Stephens (12), S.Ryan (25), Mollison (32) ... not Nichols, so that's a winAnyone know the umpires for tomorrows match?
Cheers mateRosebury (8), Stephens (12), S.Ryan (25), Mollison (32) ... not Nichols, so that's a win
He already did Thursday night and Today so his stench is well and truly across the weekend.Cheers mate
Thank goodness for no Nichols
Yeah they're pretty steady umpires. Speaking of Nichols, watched the final 2 mins of the Carlton GWS game. Really tried to get GWS over the lineHe already did Thursday night and Today so his stench is well and truly across the weekend.
Those 4 are a good result, they're all generally pretty good.
