It won't happen but from a team structure point of view there is a compelling case to be made for dropping Lobbe and going with Ryder as sole ruck.
Our form with just Paddy was pretty good.I hear your thinking but Lobbe is a pressure freak! Lead the tackles (10) and hitouts (29) for the game yesterday (Port and Tigers players)
One ruckman got us to a preliminary final.Ludicrous. ..
The bloke got us to a prelim

its bigger than lobbe and ryder. On that basis let's just play the team from last year's finals and forget about this thread.
I'd rather have Neade in average form than Sam GrayI reckon neade coming in will have a similar impact as last year.
Look we have the cattle to be a contender, we have already proven that. What we need now is some tinkering with the game plan and an injection of confidence. A big part of our current predicament is lack of confidence and a willingness to take the game on. It is not the end of the world and we will come back better for this experience.

I'd really be interested in hearing the rationale behind dropping Wingard.
Are you talking about a (plan B) because the rest of the competition is all over (A)Look we have the cattle to be a contender, we have already proven that. Our depth is getting better but when you really look at it, Young, Moore, Stewart, Butcher are all fringe players at best.
I would like to see if Moore can crack it this year, i like his size for AFL footy + my son thinks Moore is Shit and must go, because of that kick in last years prelim, he thinks it's all Moore's fault that we missed the GF lol.Whilst they are fringe players at the moment, I'd like to think that Young and Moore have the ability to be AFL players on a consistent basis.
Agree with the other two players. In fact, you have to ask the question as to what value Stewart is giving the club if he hasn't been able to get a game as yet in 2015. I know he was signed up effectively as a depth player but still, give him a crack atleast.
Neade will always be a horses for courses player however I'd like to see him get a game soon. He has been somewhat disappointing so far in 2015 given the last few games of 2014 when he played really well.
Yep fair call. We need for Moore to step up soon. I rate him but it is frustrating because he seems to be injured or more recently suspended. Maybe we need to trade in one or two. Easier said than done I know. Are you talking about a (plan B) because the rest of the competition is all over (A)
Seriously i do agree with you but it seems we have to play to our absolute best to win a game of footy (unless it's a Showdown lol) the good teams in the comp can still win with medioka performances, that's why the cracks are starting to show. Our depth is getting better but when you really look at it, Young, Moore, Stewart, Butcher are all fringe players at best. A few ready made AFL players are needed now if we are to take the next step, before our window closes and Schulz, Westhoff retire.

Hi , a few friends and myself are going up to Alice for the game aswell , is there any pup or club that supporters normally meet up before or after game ?will there be many changes given the bye in the SANFL? I don't think so.
Out: Sam Gray, Jacko
In: Someone who has a geniune crack.
I'm taking a week off of work and flying up to Alice to see the game, hopefully the boys assist in giving me a good weeks break!
