Lobbe is useless in the forward line. I would give Harvey a go but Ken wont. So I'd like to see

Westhoff to CHB. He takes marks there and he would give us a bit more drive than Jacko
Lobbe - Rucks 85-90% of the time and when not rucking he goes to the bench
Ryder - plays at CHF and players have to use him.
Stewart - in play half forward as the pseudo 3rd tall. When Lobbe off and Ryder rucking he moves across to CHF. In between time he moves around the forward 50..
Ah Chee - gets a full game
Moore - another big body mid in.
Out - S.Gray Cornes White out -rest
Great ideas - especially Westy CHB and Ryder CHF

It's time Westhoff gets given a role. He can't continue being the bloke that does as he please's cause he isn't doing enough atm to warrant that sort responsibility in the team, so him playing CHB wouldn't be a bad move at all IMO.

White needs to be rested if he's not fit...

Stewart > White.
Ah Chee > K Cornes.
Clurey > Trengove.

I live in Alice and am reluctant to want to go watch this weeks game live from what i have heard of the last 2 games effort. Will decide closer to the weekend me thinks.

R.Gray Shulz Wingard
Monfries Westhoff Hartlett
Young Wines Amon
Stewart Hombsch Pittard
Impey Carlile Jonas
Ryder Ebert Boak
Lobbe Krakoer Ah Chee
Sub Moore

= out Cornes Trengove White S.Gray
In Young Stewart AhChee Moore

OUT: Cornes, White, S Gray, Krakouer, Trengove
IN: Moore, Young, Neade, Broadbent, Stewart

Thin ice (Jonas*, Westhoff, Hartlett, Impey)

*He has only survived due to Trengove going down, he is completely out of sorts and wouldn't want to play another poor game.

Westhoff and Hartlett stay in too because they are too talented to keep this poor form going, surely it has got to turn around for these too very soon. The 2 most frustrating players on our list right now.

I wasn't provoking I was honestly asking who would you put as sub
Dont know, until I look at match ups. I havent watched Melbourne play the last 4 weeks. If Krak survives he is an option to burn it up in the second half.

Bring Youngy in as the sub and chuck him in the middle in the last quarter.

He will put his body on the line and hopefully add some energy to our midfield if times are tough.

Awesome......that's the kind of support that will help lift the team!!
Some of us would love the chance to see a game live this year.......

What sort of supporter do you call yourself?
Once a year and probably never again after this season will you get to see Port Adelaide play in Alice Springs and you are questioning if you go or not?
I am a great supporter of my club and have no one to answer to in regards to this. I am going to the match i have decided but really want to see some team footy not the crap dished out for Cornes last game.

Hes been given no gametime. He looked ordinary before being picked last year before finding he's feet. He wasnt that terrible at the GABBA.. there were worse.

Oh hang on.... indigenous round...i will have to change my selections

out:
anyone whose key weapon is speed and cant run
anyone whose key weapon is kicking and cant kick

conservatism at the moment is starting with selection and the coaches box.
Have some balls (no recalling sam gray off the rookie list is not showing balls, it is showing reluctance to go to something new).

Westhoff at CHB would be useless. He reads the play well etc. but wouldn't be good defending a leading forward etc.

Aaron Young in my mind, definitely has what it takes to be a top AFL footballer. Moore might make it, but i'm not sure. I have Young much higher on the list at this stage.

Chad Cornes 2.0

I think you are pretty close to the money with your in/outs.

Although regarding Hartlett, statistically he is having a reasonable season although I'd like to see him using his long kick more to our advantage. He made some uncharacteristic mistakes on the weekend and is getting by on pure talent at the moment without being spectacular.

I'm surprised that people aren't mentioning Monfries more because out of all our forwards he is genuinely having a crack.

Although Wingard will end his career as a very good midfielder, I'd like to see him stay put in our forward line for the moment only because our forward line is extremely static in 2015!

I posted something similar in the other thread but if you bothered to look at melbournes forward line they have Hogan (195), Fitzpatrick (200), Pederson (193) and dawes (193) who may return. If they were really keen to stretch us gawn (208) would also be a chance but theyre then too top heavy so probably wouldn't happen; the conditions may play a part aswell.

In saying that Hombsch to Hogan, Jonas to Pederson and carlile to dawes. But this leaves a massive 200cm hole named jack Fitzpatrick. Trengove would normally get the go here but is injured. Those suggesting westhoff don't understand he's better at playing loose and once he engages in a marking contest inside defensive 50 his lankiness means he gets thrown to the side so that's a no go there. Impey would go to garlett who is extremely dangerous because he is a crumber against these talls and vince should get the job on boak.

Fitzpatrick is playing down back so dont need to worry about him in the fwd line

I am not sure about specific ins and outs as I sense we have a bigger issue to deal with at the club

That said, trialling youth will become an agenda item soon if we don't get some wins on the board
