Someone must go for O'Connor if he's fit. Perhaps Tuohy, although he could play further up in place of the injured Clark.

These changes give me some hope that the club has realised the old slow blokes (ie. Henderson, Scooter) shouldn’t be in our side come finals. Good.

Seems they want to see how Smith goes against Goldstein.

Hoping O’Connor comes back in next week.

Regarding O'Connor - going back to what Scott said after the match last week, probably still applies this week in that they couldn't be convinced he wouldn't do more damage. Rather him get it right than be rushed back and do more damage

Selwood and Henderson dumped, thank goodness. MC seems to be waking up, good stuff. Just Clark, Rohan and O'Connor, maybe Constable to come back in soon and we've got our 22 for the finals. Ruck doesn't faze me, both are putrid, so go get em big Smitty.

Still have changes to be made before finals though - Tuohy has to pull his finger out, Bews could lose his spot when O’Connor comes back, and Smith really needs to make a statement. But this is a good start.

If Clark is done for the season, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see Narkle get an extended run and play finals. He has the skills and hardness required for September.

O'Connor for Bews and Rohan maybe for a Atkins or someone similar and we're all set I reckon. Clark depending on injury and also Constable depending on how Narkle performs over the next few.
