Back at the Gabba against an inconsistent and mentally weak Port side, the boys confidence will be sky high after today. We could be in with a sneaky chance in this one!:p

Thoughts on changes? I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to an unchanged team after todays game. Perhaps one of Hammer, William or Keays could drop back to reserves level though. All three look like they could do with some more development time in the ressies. Who could step up and come in? Nick Robertson and Josh Clayton have been performing well in the reserves.

Pouring in the Port game. With any luck it stays wet and Port guys arrive in Brissy next week with heavy legs and plenty of sore bodies.
Yep the good thing about us coming off a 6 day break next weekend is that Port will be as well and they have to travel. On top of that as you say it is raining so they could have a few tired players next week.

Agree Schache needs a rest, but I'd be more inclined to rest him for the away game against the crows when his chances to impact the game will be far less. Let him have a crack on the home deck

Could happen but I'd almost be happy to give him 2 weeks off. He looks knackered.

I'd leave the side as is. They played well today, if they let us down next week make changes but for now i'd hold tight and leave em as is.

Out: William
In: Robertson

Only change for me personally. William is nust not senior ready imo. The rest keep their spot no doubt.
There is nobody i the reserves anywhere near Reuben William....Keayes on the other hand is too slow and and provides zilch as a small forward .

I think Keays is tracking nicely personally - asked to play a defensive forward a position he has never played before. Out of all the new kids blooded - schache, hipwood, William, matho, Jansen, he is the one playing out of his natural position. He tackles hard, runs hard goes in hard. I think if anything instead of looking to ha ball at all cost try kicking occasionally. That mark he took to handball to rich was at full pace one grab was all class. I think you are being a tad harsh on a 10 game player.

If the club is really serious about giving Archie a run to assess how he would go at afl level then this game is probably the best one to do it in given ports ruck options
