How many games over the last 5 years would've we started hot favourites at home only to get rolled? Maybe 15-20? None of the normal rules apply to this team.

Yes they do because bookies access everything , it's their job

Who the fu** is fast enough and we are going to play on Cameron when he is playing forward?? Manguru or Kai?

I'd rather Cameron kick all of Brisbane's 6 goals while we kick 15.

Yeah just like with Betts just let him beat his opponent and don't over commit other defenders to curb his influence, just tell DBj to be Steve baker this weekend and get under his skin

or running away from a contest.
Bonner running towards an opponent with the ball is like watching that maths problem where the rock is thrown at the tree but can only ever make it half the remaining distance each throw and so never makes it.

I’m sorry Riley I actually love your work, but please lift your tackle game, if an absolute spud of a footballer like me could lay a tackle surely you can too <3

He's quick but ordinary on the outside he's purely a inside mid.. like wines like Boak like rockcliff .. we can't have 4 in there.
Had 4 on the weekend with wines, spp, rockliff and gray. Boak comes in gray can play more forward, rockliff spent a fair bit of time on the wing which worked.

SPP’s running power is invaluable imo. His disposal can be scattergun, but he’s easily a net return *with his speed and workrate.

Id leave Gray in the midfield he Dominated. Why change it? Especially when Brisbane's midfield spread is a shitload better than Adelaide's

The Age has an article on Port's re-signinings of the kids. Hinkley is quoted as saying that Lycett is a likely starter against Brisbance. His knee has been cleared of any structural damage. Hinkley could be foxing of course.

Well considering he finished off the game last week like a steamtrain, you'd hope he'd be a likely starter.

Are we hoping it pours then

Nope. Hipwood is hobbled. The only reason he was on the ground against GWS is because if he went out it would have cost the Lions a rotation on the bench and he wasn't going to hurt it any worse - that's why he was on the bike on the interchange and at half time...to keep it moving.

Fagan admitted Hipwood’s setback almost finished his evening, but the key forward played through the pain and booted a clutch third-quarter goal after a great pack mark.

He wanted to stick it out and he did,” Fagan said.

“He made himself a target … he got involved in some tough contests. They fell on it a few times and he just hung in there.

To see a young forward tough it out like that was so exciting to watch. I gave him a pat on the head after the game and said ‘that’s nearly the best game you’ve played’. He laughed at me but it’s true in a way.

To become a team that can compete against the best, you’ve got to have guys in your team who will play through pain. He did that tonight, maybe for the first time in his career, and he did it really well.”
