The problem is that Clarkson and the selection committee for whatever reason last year and this year don't have the balls to drop underperforming senior players which doesn't send a good message imo.

Agree. Sure he was poor last week, but he was battling against 2 Coleman medallists on a fast track. I'd be inclined to keep him in, because we just don't have too many other options.

I could just imagine the melts if Pink was dropped for Chom, and Chom came in for his first game of the year, first official game as a defender, and has a shocker.

Sheez looked really good on ball and i think he might get Lazzaro's role this week with Charlie having the week off. Assuming his running capacity if there i think we might see Eddie Ford back on a wing with Tucker having a spell.

Pink for Comben
Tucker for Shiels
Lazzaro for Drury (Sub)

They probably feel that Corr is better at organising the defence than what Pink would be and there just ain't enough experience down there except for McDonald.

The sooner we can transition away from these guys the better. Corr is so painful with his body language it kills me.

Totally agree.

Corr has been woeful - constantly caught in no-mans-land and instructing our mosquito fleet to pick up a power forward because he's too slow to recover is rubbish.

I just hope those midfielders who allowed Cerra, Cripps and Kennedy (ffs!) to waltz out the middle and give it to Curnow and Magoo MKII on an absolute platter go and give Pink an apology for getting dropped. Peak Matthew Scarlett wouldn't have got near some of that non-pressured silver service..
