Regarding 'Teach me how to Duggan' Im stoked! Mentioned it a couple of pages back. Different conditions but hope he comes in and shows his WAFL form, unlike Cockatoo who looked perplexed at the top level. Maybe it'll quieten a few.

Alternatively if he doesnt do the above Im sure some voices will grow louder!

Yep i missed the old days when Woosh would call out a few players. I think a few really need a kick up the ass and it is good he is saying the mids are not performing and did not blame the fact he was a man down in defense.

Agreed. But it's bad for business to run down a brown-low medallist, as its the AFL's highest achievement, Imagine the uproar. But his counter-spuds, well we don't have much in reserve to cover so he's probably saying such things behind closed doors.

Feel for him, I reckon he'll be on his way after his contract.

Ents can cover the ground pretty quickly actually, they can sweep in and crush you before you have time to wet your robes. Kind of like I'm hoping Lycett does to whatever hapless orc is in the ruck tomorrow night.

Would be surprised if Masten was dropped. I dare say Lamb will be the one dropped , heard he pulled up sore from the weekend and the fact he played all pre-season games and was subbed in early. Duggan will be an excellent choice as sub.

Simmo said Lycett will get another go this week so doubt Sinclair will be in as a ruck.

Sending Lycett to the WAFL is utterly pointless. Will dominate the taps, kick at least two goals a week assuming supply is satisfactory (and it will be most of the time) and rack up massive numbers around the ground.

Minson dominated him in the taps and unless we expect Naitanui to ruck 100% of the game then occasionally the stronger and more mature ruckmen will cause some headaches.

As for Lycett outside of the ruck, he's only partly to blame. The rest of the blame falls on our midfield.

Midfielder with utility to play on the flanks. Inside/ Outside but will probably have a strong outside bias early in his career. Which might be a little bit of problem given his average pace, but he's shown genuine class at WAFL level already so he might adapt to the speed of the game quickly and be useful on congestion rather than struggling on the outside looking for separation he can't necessarily generate easily.

Medium outside mid. Small frame at the moment, reasonable pace and an excellent left boot. His right is pretty good too.
