Changes vs Carlton

Stewart, Gray, Young and Clurey just haven't made the most of their opportunities. There are better options running around in the
SANFL than those guys. Replace those 4 with Moore, Ahchee, Mitchell and Oshea/(Trengove if fit) and we are a better side on paper. But reality is we need our guns firing to win games.

I have patience for Clurey as he has upside

Really want to fit Clurey in somehow if Trengove comes back.

Perhaps Clurey could be a big bodied mid while Trengove is down back and then if Trengove can help Lobbe in the ruck, Clurey can go down back.

I'm a fan of O'Shea, but his form just doesn't warrant his inclusion. I see a future for Clurey; if Jacko comes back, it may be Jonas skating on thin ice. For someone who was so reliable & versatile, geez, I don't know what's gone wrong with Jonas.

Someone up there must be looking after Jonas because he should have been out a long time ago. I must say he does have some mates that should have been dropped with him. I would like Moore to come in. Got several goals against West. The best one was when he got hold of the ball in Centre Circle moved towards goal, had a bounce on the run and then kicked it from outside the 50.
Krakouer also got a goal on the run from the 50.
We need players who can kick goals ........

Can we afford to push Robbie into the F50 with Chad similar to 13/14 and bring in Arch/Moore to play in the mids? I know Gray is having a great season, but we're missing so much creativity by playing 3 defensive forwards.

Counter argument of course is that without Gray around the stoppages we might not get the ball in the F50...

I wonder if Ken gave Hocking a last minute directive to play O'Shea in the midfield after White went down injured. In good form and in full flight O'Shea is probably the best equipped player from our available squad to play that running, linking, intercepting player through the middle.

I agree he has upside but right now he seems to be making too many mistakes with his very little opportunities with the ball in the hand.

If he gets another go this week he needs to make it count. Will just put the last 3 weeks down to nerves.

What I laugh at is the ego of some of our fans. Every loss has the rebuttal of they are better than what we thought. Why because they beat us? Maybe it's more they are mediocre and we aren't as good as we thought, just because we lose to a team doesn't make them a good side. Swing away I say and fell tho tree's, it allows for new growth.
