That is as disgraceful a selection i have seen. Ken bangs on about rewarding form. White had 6 touches last week and has done sweet FA for 6 weeks in the 2's.

What must the other players be thinking....

What effect a selection like White will have on the morale of the players who have performed better than him for weeks at the Maggies, has to be a major concern.

The very worst thing about this is we effectively start a man down from the off. Matt White is so far from AFL level that it will be exactly like the GWS game. He wont get near it and when he does he is no longer up to it.

The damage of such a selection doesnt only affect us tomorrow. This flows down the list. Those of you have played sport at a reasonable level, know that within a team you know within yourself when there is someone playing in front of you that is undeserving. Blokes like Palmer, Bonner, Atley, Ah Chee, Drew wouldnt admit it but they would be thinking, how the glory be is this old, slow bloke getting a game in front of me. He not even performing at SANFL.

Ken is a hypocrite coaching for himself and not for the team.

If the reasoning is that Whitey goes to the wing for Polly, and Pittard slips into Broady's position, then why couldnt Ken have moved Young or Impey for the run and carry, and brought in Eddy or Doogs to help bring the ball to ground in the Forward, and help pressure off Dixon?
Hell, he could have moved the centre guys around, esp since Trav looks like he doesn't have a place anywhere near the middle otherwise, and still brought in Eddy or Doogs. WTF IS GOING ON?!

Lol I knew you'd agree with it. Yeah, bring in a runner for sure, just not Matt White. We have other, better options, even if it involves shifting the defence around and playing Pittard or Hartlett on a wing.

That doesn't happen. And really at this point it won't with Ken. He backs in his favourites above anything else, so it isn't a shock he's bought White back in. I'm not surprised, it's just rinse and repeat so see what happens tomorrow.

This is easily the worst selection call of the Hinkley era. He has completely lost the plot.

GTFO Hinkley and Matt White.

At least White can run, not as fast as he once could but its not the worst.

Rd 2 2015 is the worst. In Rd 1 we played Freo at Subi after Ross Lyons spent all preseason brooding over the semi final loss 6 months earlier. We get beaten by 7 or 8 pts, after being run off our feet in the 3rd quarter and early last before we kick 4 goals in the last few minutes, have to travel back to Adelaide and play Sydney after 6 days rest when Sydney have 8 days rest. Ken believes the Burgo bullshit that we are the fittest ever and he selects Redden who hasn't played in over a year and can barely run. It was the only selection change.

That is the rolled gold worst selection in the Hinkley era. Arrogant, stupid and useless.

It's not a like for like. Broadbent is a half-back and White is a cooked winger that got 6 touches in the SANFL last week.
