Lachie Weller, Fremantle, has been charged with bumping / making forceful contact from front-on against Jayden Hunt, Melbourne, during the third quarter of the Round 16 match between Fremantle and Melbourne, played at TIO Stadium on Saturday July 9, 2016.

In summary, he can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Melbourne Football Club, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head. The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a $1000 sanction.

Ballantyne not even cited for whatever elsleevador was talking about.

Great news - is it just me or have we coasted this year with the MRP? Barely any controversial nor contentious reports. Granted Weller didn't deserve a week but those near 50/50 calls were generally weeks given over the last 3-4 years.

Maybe cos we're like not a flag threat? Or cos we like have no drive to even knock the shit out of opposition players no mo.

Good luck for this game. I know you guys hate Geelong passionately and we are all rooting for you....hard! :rainbow:

In Hughes, Deluca, Clarke, Barlow
Out Ibbo, Weller, Suban , Mundy if concussed otherwise Langdon

Talent wise and with injuries they should beat us easily but yes we do tend to have interesting games. If Barlow and Mundy play we may make it interesting.

Keep Langdon, yes he is another Crozier type player, but can we really afford to not find out what He is capable of? Really want to see the best kicks in our squad given every opportunity to succeed.

Tucker looks due a rest, he will make it whether he plays a few more games this season or not.

That's the thing isn't it, some people make better use of their AFL opportunities. I can definitely see it with Yarran. I hope to see him play within the next month. I think he's capable of keeping his spot.
Yep. They pick these guys at mature ages because they've already proved they have what it takes at WAFL level.
So what the hell is the point of keeping them in the WAFL?
Not like we have a few years to develop him.

On the positive side we play 6 top 8 sides in our final 7 games.

So Barlow in, Hughes in

Ibbo out injured, Mundy out if injured
Ibbo indicated at training this morning that he was right to go for Friday albeit that he has 2 black eyes

Hmmm. Not sure if anyone caught Ross on Ch7 just then. He said if someone does go to Danger it will be Barlow but they having been looking at just running team defence on him.

To me that sounds like "We'll see which Dangerfield turns up, if he has 2 goals and 15 touches in the first qtr then we'll tag him. I really hope we tag him from the get go. Outside of Danger/Selwood their midfield is average. More so because they all just expect Danger to do it for them.

Geelong were humiliated last week. They will be playing to save face. Seeing 2 geelong humiliations in a row is asking too much probably.

Ross on 7 News tonight basically indicated that Deluca wouldnt be coming up this week.

Really? Well that's weak. Puts it on Weller and Deluca to a certain extent and they couldn't have done any more to suggest that this change was a certainty.

Weller is obviously the better prospect, but either needs a rest or a better kick up the backside.
