Changes vs Hawthorn

Yep I'm not a big fan of Mitchell but he certainly doesn't deserve to get dropped after that game.

Not so happy ah chee was the sub , dunno how to rate his performance since he had one touch ( a great touch ) to rate his whole game by.

I certainly wouldn't be dropping westhoff. Yes he is down on form but just the flexibility he gives us and the match up nightmares he gives opposition is worth it. Also gives us another tall so they can't double team a Shultz if they have to mind westhoff floating back into f50

Ken make it clear he rested Cornes and will bring him in. Only looks like one change at the moment.

The Hoff was involved in many of the transitions from defence to attack. Probably as many as any other player on the ground and he played his part be it with the ball, competing or just forcing a North player or two to go with him and thus create space somewhere else.

Sometimes players just have to attract the best defenders to play their part.

Westhoff is the player who creates head aches for the opposition selectors and on game day because he is so versatile. I didn't think he played a bad game, probably no this best, but he did enough.

3 tackles and one clean possession in 15 minutes for Ah Chee. Was good and his Sanfl form matches anyone likely to be considered as an in. Think some players you can look at and know they belong out there, Ah Chee could be one of those.

Yes it would be unfortunate to drop ah chee for this game as he has little exposed afl form and the tiny bit he has he did alright but it's such a small sample size. Moore has a long long line of very good exposed form for the magpies and deserves a shot but Im not sure I would drop ah chee after only getting a run as sub. Ah chee's form this season has been very good, would love to see what he has got in the afl side. Baptism of Fire against a good side in hawthorn next week though.

I don't think Moore offers enough to be considered at AFL level and this week vs hawks is not the time to ask the question.

1 change if Lobbe is not fit, Wines for Cornes.

If Lobbe is fit then maybe AhChee goes out.

Let's hope. White comes up OK too.

Just looked at the injury list, is Jarman Impey fit?

If so I'd bring him in for Nathan Krakouer (as harsh as it may seem)

I'd rate Krakoer above Impey at the moment myself but it's great to see the cluster of players who probably deserve to be considered at the moment . Moore , Stewart , Colqhoun , Would all be good inclusions when they get their chance

He has been hated for his entire career. People don't like players that aren't clearly super talented.
Kane didn't have a bad word said about him anywhere until probably 2008 or 2009 when he started to seagull a little bit and traded out his laser handball for loopy chip kicks.

He's definitely found the right balance again since Primus was sacked.

Krakouer is better with ball in hand, but not by much. Without the ball Impey is by far the superior player.

Krak will probably be more consistent, but Impey is a young player, and getting games into young players is pretty key.

If Jarman Impey is fit then I would definitely bring him in but it may be as a replacement for White if he does not come up. That would mean Krakouer can stay in and he can fill White's position. Or possibly even Ollie Wines', he is playing a lot more inside and with tackling strength than when he last played in 2011.

To be fair I wasn't on bigfooty until then :p

Out
Mitchell
Wines
White (if injured)

In
Butcher or Stewart (need someone to stop Gibson)
Kornes
Neade for White (hope he spends the entire week practicising kicking the ball on his foot instead of his knee)

Select sub after today's game and see how Hawks are playing.

Don't mind Ah Chee as a sub, thought he looked good.

Concerned about Gray, Jonas potential injuries.

Out: Krakour and Ah Chee
In: Lobbe and Cornes

Young/Mitchell to be sub

Wines to be a gun and still play.

Power to win a thriller by 1pt

Not sure where the talk about Impey being a potential inclusion came from, he pinged his hammy & will probably be out for another 3 weeks.

Plus Krak was great not sure what more people want from a guy who played his first AFL game in 3 years, locked down on his opponent for the most part, got plenty of ball, provided a lot of rebound & directed traffic like a general down back.

The reason Pittard & Broady were freed up to attack further up field was because our mix down back is as good as any club going around at the minute, wouldn't change a thing with that line.

Impey isn't on the injury list.

Krak was good, but Jarman was best on ground against Sydney before he went off.

Impey is on the injury list. He had scans and we still don't know how long he'll be out for. Even if Impey returns, Krakouer is not likely to be dropped. Will only get better after that first run.

EDIT: Not saying he isn't injured, but I don't exactly have other information to go by other than him not playing this weekend.
