The problem is no-one except the coaches knows what he should be working on. What I don't understand is why Simmo refuses to tell us what the issues are. He had no problem telling the press multiple times re: Sheeds issues i.e. defensive running game.

The issue has too be his tank is too low to play midfield at Afl level ..

"Play Parto!" has simply become a catchcry for supporters who are sick of seeing senior players turn in slow, insipid performances and would instead like to see fresh, enthusiastic blood come into the 22.
Parto has become the face of that undercurrent even though they may never have seen him play

It's interesting because early in the season he was being written off around here as someone who accumulates a lot of ball, but isn't damaging and probably won't make it at AFL level/isn't what we need.

That said something's very wrong with the senior team right now, and changes need to be made. He's the only one consistently appearing to put his hand up. Real shame guys like Venables, rioli & Watson have been injured.

Yeah kinda wierd he won't comment on what Parto has to work on, probably because whatever he says the supporters will just scoff at it, and use Lecras as an example as someone who doesn't do exactly what Parto needs to work on i.e defensive pressure.

The way I see it, the best way to work on something is to play. Its the Lions this weekend, surely he can work on his shit in that game.

I don't know much about glandular fever.
How did Heeney recover from it this year in a few weeks?
Is there a varying level of seriousness with glandular fever?
Most of the population have had it and don't even know about it. But it can make some people really unwell i think it is worse if you get it as an adult. A guy i met in tafe got it when he was 19 from kissing a girl and suffered from chronic fatigue for 10 years spent 12- 18 hours a day in bed. Another bloke i know just got it in Singapore on holiday and had to spend 4 days in the hospital cost him 7k.

Not the best scenario to make your debut when your own coach has told opposition analysts the best way to negate his impact on the game.

Big milestone games for good guys
Kennedy Shuey and Yeo yet your passionate brothers show no passion..Ironic

exactly if there was passion and love for thy brother they would have played their heart out for the likes of kennedy yeo and shuey esp after what shueys been through with his sisters death and injuries at the start of his career

understand nic nat is defending the boys but deep down he probably feels somethings not right

I'm not comfortable with the media now weighing in so heavily on the play Partington debate. It's one thing for us nobodies to carry on about it but when every second article about us mentions him, his junior coaches are being contacted for comment and the question is repeatedly put to Simmo I get an unsettling feeling that the young bloke will be damned either way.

It may just show how much more in touch with the list we are and our heightened levels of intelligence. What we want done takes a couple of months for the media to catch up on as being something to hammer the club with. We're all that quick, just ask my mrs.

TBH I think i completely lost my shit last weekend, there are only so many ****s you can give. It helps to get a new job, start your own PTY LTD company and secure a very large contract all in the space of this week however.

I would presume so - years ago my Brother had it and even though he lives a fairly normal life these days, his energy levels never did recuperate. He gets tired/exhausted extremely easy after only doing minor chores and has to really push himself. Also just after when he was first diagnosed his nerves were shot for awhile. He was not allowed to drive a vehicle for some time, so I do think there are obviously varying degrees and consequently as to how you recover. I'm no Doctor of course!
