Hard to make any forced changes after a win like that!
Much like with Dolan last week I think Davo is due a spell.
Poulter can mind the wing for him up in Darwin after kicking 3.3 from 26 disposals in the twos.
Busslinger gets full gametime with one of the smalls wearing the vest.

Let's wait and see what Chris Bell tells us. Both Lobb and West were limping and reaching for their feet after contests in the last quarter (Lobb came back on though). Could be others pull up sore too.

At least it's a 7 day break.

Definitely a wait on injuries. Would love to get Poulter in though.

Would suggest Davidson out over VDM but VDM doesn't get dropped, and Davidson has put together an incredible season to this point.

I don't think anyone deserves to be dropped off the back of that game. Even VDM had some crucial handballs clearing packs to set up a couple goals.

I'd be interested to see how much ground Davidson covered compared to his usual very high bench mark but from my eye he looked to be travelling slower and not spreading as much, on top of his disposal letting him down. Although he is mature age we mustn't forget he was playing local football two years ago.
He has hit the ground running but not worth burning him out considering he is already critical to our game.

Wasn't in the top 5 for distance covered (Burgoyne, Lobb, Richards, Drew, Freijah), but top of the list for distance covered at high speed, and average speed.

If he needs a rest or Vandermeer pulls up sore, Poulter is the one.

Was a sensible sub considering how much ground this guy has covered so far this year. Could see us doing the same with Libba soon (sub out at 3/4) if we are comfortably wining with no injuries

Vdms basic skill errors still annoy me. They're often costly as well breaking down attacking chains only for oppo score on the TO.

I'd include Buss back in to the role Williams played today and shuffle others around so Williams is back to the wing and VDM to sub.

If we have to play them in Darwin I could not think of a better time to play them off a 6 day break and after a Q clash. They will be having a big built up for the Q clash and then need to front up against a red hot dogs. Advantage dogs confident of getting this one done.

Davo might need a breather he has only done the 1 AFL Preseason. So in the name of injury prevention might give him a week to freshen up and bring in Poulter for a run.
Or maybe subbing Davo today was limiting his load as the kid does a power of running. Time will tell how it goes

I wouldn’t play Buss in Darwin. Don’t trust he will have the appropriate conditioning for the climate.

I’d opt for a smaller line up. I’d like Poulter in. He can provide some flexibility as his been performing quite well as a third tall.

All the afl listed guys looked pretty good today from the glimpses I saw. Arty jones was good also.
