Knights has labeled next week’s NAB Challenge match as a dress rehearsal ahead of Round 1 of the season proper and looks forward to bringing big guns Matthew Lloyd and Dustin Fletcher back into the side.

‘We will go out for almost a full dress rehearsal and it will allow us to play our best 22 that will be earmarked for Round 1. We have got a 16-day break between that game and between the Kangaroos game on the Monday.

I think Knighter also said that the goal was to give everyone a week off as well.

Michael, Ryder, Monfries, Hille, Laycock, Reimers, Peverill and Johnson played the first 3 games, so maybe some of these will be rested. Ryder missed the intra-club game so he'll probably play.

Has a groin niggle. They where working on it at 1/4 time which is why he spent some time forward in the second quarter.
I wouldn't think he will play this week.

I don't think they will risk having Lloyd sit on an plane to fly all the way to Perth for what will probably be a half of football for him. I wouldn't risk it.

And i think Knights probably won't play his best side now, as when he made that statement I don't think he was planning to go to west coast.

The article about Hislop being banned from the NAB said Hislop will be up for selection round 1 and really hope he does play quite a bit in 08. Hislop Houli and Pears are the ones I would like to see play to most out of our youngsters this year although I doubt Pears will get much because he is so young.
