Channel 7 commentry set up is pitiful!

Everytime I watch the coverage on channel 7 whether it be game day/night or the Brownlow medal it seems as if they need to justify the commentators big pay packets by having a wankfest over each other.

Richo, Ling & Darcy normally have 'you better', 'no your better' wankfest every chance they get. Last night we had a 10 minute segment on reports & segments they do through out the year, what did that have to do with the medal count?

Geez, they even had the commentator on the screen talking while the highlights of the round were running in the back corner. Do we really need to see them? Can't we just have had their voice over top of the screen?

The fact they pay to fly Tom Harley down from Sydney every weekend is laughable enough. Dunno if its solely for his comment "they'll look at that' when dobbing in some poor bastard because he is one of the most useless special comments men around.

That's normal. It'll be for the entire telecast (ie. pre-game/post-game discussion and various segments). Won't be for commentating the actual game. I expect Bruce/Dennis will be calling the game, with special comments from a handful of Matthews/Harley/Watson/Ling/Richo/Darcy. If they Brian Taylor anywhere near the commentary box, I'm muting and listening to out of sync radio broadcast. That c@^% will not be ruining it for me!
