A bit sick of these Port vs Adelaide player polls!!! Only problem with Bock is he is a bit slow compared to Chaplin.

I for one would like to see Chaplin go forward at times,he runs off his opponent too much, but in doing so as he has shown this year is he can find the ball.He will be solid in the future and will take the taller stronger forwards (ie:resting ruckman) but is a little slow to keep up with the Gehrig/Hall/Tarrants of the comp.
Bock is on the other hand just a little smaller (not much) and needs a little bit of bulk to handle the above mentioned, similar players with different strength/weakness'.

Bock seems a more versatile player as I saw on the weekend but if your looking at the player in the one key defending role then Chaplin > Bock

A bit slow compared to Chaplin? Bock is lightning quick compared to him.

Last week Bocks player seemed to get away from him quite a bit. Mind you it was in the second half and he probably isn't 100% match fit!

pretty silly poll as the only people voting are crows and port supporters and we know who they are all voting for.

What the hell is your problem? I have never read a single post of yours that isnt belittling another person or club. FFS grow up. Your obsession is unhealthy.

We all know your a crows fan, 90% of your posts are in crows based threads defending the crows. You even voted for Bock, maybe you can explain why you dont like chaplin then? i dont see you post on the port board at all. Go back to your franchise

Big fan of both players. Both are high potential CHBs - hard to split.

Last year when fit and in-form Bock looked absolutely terrific both defensively and on transition, rebounding strongly from halfback. Has surprisingly good foot skills and a large fitness base. The back injury suffered in the offseason has set him back though and hopefully he can quickly come good and show that potential again.

Chaplin is similar. Very good defensively and not afraid to use the ball when it's in his hands either. Has been a mainstay in the Port defence since finally being reinstated by Choco just prior to finals last year - after inexplicably being dropped after a top notch performance on Nathan Thompson in Round 7.

Too close to call at this point, although given Chaplin is almost a good 3 years younger you could give him the chocolates on 'upside'.

Good to see you jumping to conclusions again. Simply because I happen to think Bock is a better player at this stage; sorry to that my opinion fails to fall into your "acceptable" response zone.
